Its Blitz. Its arcade football. Always been over the top like this. Awesome game.

It focuses on dirty hits, injuries and drugs, it's more of an arcade type of game compared to other games such as madden which tries to be as realistic as possible. And you'd probably get sued if you did that kind of stuff real life =)
