Well, Macs do crash but they don't crash nearly as much as PCs do.

I had a Mac that was 12 years old and it was crash once every 2 months. That's pretty good for a computer that was 12 years old...

All unix based OSses (including OS X) are superiour to Microshit.

In those days, Apple still had to invent OS X, and Linux just gave Unix a new life. People started to see that Unix was far more developed, and had quite some nice features (and since it is open source, the process of security fixes is dramatically better).

Apple OS X is completely built on BSD. Nuff said. And you can challenge the usability of the UI, but it is by far better than the Microsoft crap.

Yes I realize that OS X is built on BSD. But all it did was add layers of crap and make it inefficient and worse. Linux is better precisely because of the open source nature that you mention, and that is a key strength of it. While OS X is BSD based, its closed nature means its no where near as good. And its not superior to MS stuff, that's just plain idiotic. You are deluded if you don't recognize the versitalitly of MS OSs cf Apple OSs. Linux is still the best though.

I wish they'd quit with the "no viruses, no crashes" bullshit. Macs have about a hundred viruses out there, granted nothing compared to Windows, but then you have to be pretty stupid to get one in the first place.

Paying hard earned money for a box that does everything except what it´s supposed to, isn´t funny either. We feel sorry for all those PC users that have to go through the burden of Windows which requires an antivirus and anti-spyware OTB in order to work for a period longer than it´s own boot time. If everyone who owns a PC owned a Mac instead, they would be less expensive and this world would be a much happier place.

You see, that´s where PC users fail miserably, it´s not just the hardware we´re actually paying for, even the most expensive PC will suffer from poor industrial design, but the biggest flaw it´s the operating system. If you can´t afford a Mac, switch to Ubuntu or Solaris and end your predicament with some dignity.

Its not just about the hardware its just windows is not a terrible Os. I have used linux, and can afford a mac I just don't want one right now because I feel like I am getting ripped off. My laptop beat the macbook pro in performance and only cost 700$. The Macbook and Macbook pro are overpriced. Why most you Insist that Windows sucks? I every never used Vista much because I dislike the Ui, but xp and windows 7 have been great Os's So far for me, better than my Mac experiences I might add.
