@CT2507 huh, do you mean how he switches between hard and soft edges and different shadow levels? if so tablets have features of opacity and thickness settings, or you can click the % next to the eraser and opacity controls at the top
@MrBoringcabbage no, i thought that he had saved two diferent erasers as brushes for quickly switching between them. but then i realised that he just switches between the soft and the hard standard brush with the eraser tool active.
2:17 "at this point you may be wondering what the practical" then a few words after you notice his stream of thought slows down, and he stutters due the the fact he thought he sounded like he was about to say what the fuck and it had distracted his train of thought.... great video thanks helps a lot
flow is like air brush, the lower it is the lighter and smoother color will be and opacity is pressure which controls the color from 10 to 100 i think that's what it means anyways
@lazathor Flow = brush pressure and opacity = amount of color used (or how strong/ bold the color itself is) With opacity the brush stroke stays consistent in width etc but with flow it is a more customizable stroke in general. I used to use just flow but then I also used a lower opacity and I found a lot of detail can come out of quick sketches, play around and just see which settings feel nice to you personally :)
how do you erase the part that you are working on without erasing the backround or overall picture? for example, how you erase the white without erasing the backround picture at around 5:38 ?
how do u make eraser brushes and save them with their soft or hard settings?

@ramagalo The layer he was erasing on was separate from the layer with the rest of the picture.

@ramagalo I think you must separate work areas into layers.
