i just bought the same camera and i really dont know where to start it seem easy but i just dont know where to start with it ... do i plug the firewire cable then press play on a playback mode on the camera and then thru some kind of program whatever is playing will get digitally recorded to my computer? please help me out i really like the camera since it even has a remote control i think its sweet.. i do have a normal 10mp camera but i like that old school stuff and i would love to keep
Since I used the heavy, older Sony DCR-TRV120, I put it on the tripod with the legs collapsed. I then ran duct tape around the tripod and seat back to hold it upright. Great for a temporary, steady camera mount. On other videos I used simple Velcro (hook and loop) attached to the bottom of a hand held camera and the dashboard. Thanks for your comments!
