  • very good! exellent!

  • i couldent tell the diffrence" thumbs up..

  • @jayeez10 Thank you!

  • At the end of the video , i was like" what the hell there is no movie".

  • good!!!so good, good work, but the texture, isn`t like the original intro.

  • wow! this is so accurate that looks like you just uploaded a regular logo XD (but i know this is not a fake ;) )

  • this is incredibly accurate. Great job!

  • @theabyss650 Thank you, but not anymore - they recently made an upgrade and I will catch up!

  • 20 century fox

  • Bloody brilliant! An homage to the original. :-)

  • I AM THE 681.271 VIEWER :D

  • Thanks for using the original CinemaScope music fanfare composed and conducted by Alfred Newman in 1954. All the newer versions of the music fanfare suck in comparison.

  • What a woderfull job, very clear and detailed piece of work, I wish I could be as good as you are, I am struggling to learn 3d.

  • @addyvertise Thank you! You'll get there IF you are serious about it! I learned EVERYTHING I know through YouTube tutorials! My advice: Try to imitate an animation (such as an Fox intro), then you'll know what you don't know, and you WILL find a tutorial about it - do so until you don't know what else to look for! Do it until you are able to imitate with near perfection what you consider to be well done - that's what worked for me!!!

  • @sandrony2004

Thank you very very much brother, I am going to put all my efforts on it, you have encouraged me. if was uploaded in 2004 I can not imagine where you are (professionaly) today. can you send me any links for good tutorials or I just need to search randomly?

  • @addyvertise I learned a great deal in 2 months or less... whenever searching for a tutorial, (for example, if you wanna leanr how to make an object follow a path), write 3ds max tutorial path constraint - and then select the videos with longer length or view count. If you look into MY subscription, I'm sure there are many cannels of 3ds max tips, tricks and tutorials!

  • @sandrony2004 Another thing i like about you is that you are a good communicator, you respond regulary this is very good, here is my youtube account addyvertise you can visit to see what I have been able to do with Final Cut Pro. Keep in touch Sandro. my name is Adeodatus Kakorozya, in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. I am a self trained Graphic Designer

  • @addyvertise I awlays respond to polite comments! I'll check it out :-)

  • Going to use this as the intro for our wedding on Friday! Thanks Sandrony2004!

  • putting this at the start of a homemade movie. because it sounds profesional...lol

  • @thestinger756 I actually did it once!!!

  • @sandrony2004 I AM DOING IT FOR ONE OF MY HOMEMADE VIDIOS LOL

  • how did you make it ?

  • @Foodforwisdom Modeling with 3ds max, animating using the same timing of the original... I don't know what else to say

  • link for us please!!

  • What's the name of the intro??

  • @laCrazymora If you mean the song, it's fox fanfarre

  • this is the shortest song that we've all grown with

  • hey sandroni ,,love the efeccts!!! how much would you charge to put my dj name on something like that?? get back...thanx

  • Can I do this with After Effects?

  • @explorador26 I don't think so! You can do something similar, but Max is better with texture!

  • @SportacusChannel i don't say this intro i just ask for an intro, can you make one for me?

  • @MsFsvideos i don't know how :/

  • @MsFsvideos i'll do one for you for free :)

  • @ThomasR95 can you make one for my new account 2609yannick, thanks. if its done i will sub to you

  • @MsFsvideos pm me with what you want done (i. e. logo, colours, style) and i'll get to work :)

  • @MsFsvideos You can make one similar if you own a Mac (and even if you don't, with the right tools) by using a program called Star Wars TSG. It allows you to make your own 20th Century fox logo, among other title sequences from Star Wars. Hope I helped

  • i met the guy's daughter who composed this song! she is awesome and she plays piano for the mary pickford silent movie films! and i am seeing her in concert tonight at my university =)

  • @heywazzup28 Hummm! Aren't you very well acquainted, huh!

  • @sandrony2004 nice video

  • @sandrony2004 well it was my music teacher's acquittance actually.... but it was still awesome :D

  • @heywazzup28

    John Williams Daughter (Jennifer)

  • @nathbfreak its was Alfred Newman who composed this song... his daughter was Maria Newman, she plays the background music for a lot of the silent films

  • @heywazzup28 Alfred Newman's daughter?

  • @FishfilmInc yes alfred newman, his daughter Maria Newman came to my university and played her violin for us :) it was so cool

  • i laugh everytime i see this

    muy chongon tu video

  • oie sandrony me podrias pasar esa esena de 20th por favor o subela a megaumpload gracias y muy padre el video

  • @sandrony2004 well i didnt now that you did this when you where in the learning process and i agree blender is not a professional software and i actualy like 3D max more than blender

  • Well done! It's really very good :)

could you make a tutorial how to do that, please?

I think many people will be thank you!

  • I LOVE 3D MAX BUT THS COMES OUT BETER IN BLENDER

  • @GorgeX1000 ...hummm... not exactly a professional software... besides, I did it during my learning process - these days it would come out totally loyal to the original

  • @GorgeX1000 - It would come out exactly the same in blender. "Applications don't really make things better by default, artists do." -Daniel Martinez

  • On the eighth second of standard prompt of the company in the right part of the screen it is possible to make out capital letters of Hollywood. And at you isn't present!!

  • qartveli xar

  • Dude!!! this is cool man!!! My mate has just asked me to do somethin like this but with his name instead of 20th century fox. dont spose you wanna share the .max file do ya???

  • i want to play this song in my bad class soooo bad!!!!!!!!!

  • lo usare para un video k me encargaron de español

  • sorry how can i put a background behind the logo??

  • @navettiere The "background" is a large sphere turned inside out (NORMAL modifier), with a sky image applied to it, with full self illumination, large enough to surround the objects of this animation.

  • @sandrony2004 thank you!

  • @sandrony2004 - I know. It is actually present, but I made this intro when I was still training 3ds max - and the illuminations of the lights I used didn't reach the Hollywood sign that IS there - I should put a little bit of self illumination, but it was such a small detail that I didn't care afterwards, when I realized the sign isn't visible.

  • BUENISIMA

  • Este intro es una pasada :D

  • I just wanted to hear this.......for some reason lol.

  • @Coldmilk51312 I didn't get it...?!

  • you master

  • @MRXISKI Nah! But thank you!

  • @sandrony2004 so modest

  • hey....i watched a movie when i was a kid and i don't remember the name of it or the ators so i'm gonna try to describe it and if you could help me it will be great.....so....

i remember starting of course with the fanfare , then something egyptian....there was a girl goes in a body of a guy, and the guy who goes in the body of the girl i remember that the guy was stealing from a gas station at the beggining and the girl was popular and everything,....i think the cause was some earrings..please

  • @simiali2 this description makes me think of the movie It´s A Boy Girl Thing, but I´m not quite sure.

  • bravo non si vede quasi la differenza con l'originale eccetto che un po per le texture dello sfondo, anche io smanetto con 3ds da un po, se ti va dai un'occhiata ai miei video sto facendo il mio quarto film 3d! (home made ovviamente)

  • @mosquiton001 Bravissimo! Ho visto i tuoi video e sembra che si vive nello stesso mondo pazzo come me! Continuate così!

  • ok they call it 20th century fox because it is 2### - 2100 and a century is one hundred years so when it gets to 2100 then they will call it 21st century fox

now its 2010 wait 90 years

  • @Neroren100 dude right now we are actually in the 21st century. in the 2100s it will be the 22nd century

  • @TheJugleman no

  • @Neroren100 - I'm afraid TheJungleman is correct!

  • @sandrony2004 noooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @Neroren100 hummm... yes! wikipedia . org / wiki/21st_century

  • @TheJugleman why did they call it 20th century fox in the 19### then instead of calling it 19th century fox. and besides check on google. u not the only one makin the same mistake.

  • the 2 looks a little awckward like its bigger or something than the 0..? still good better than what i can do with abdobe shit lol thumbs up

e sotto ancora scrivi MARICA... quindi ................ 18th COMPLEANNO MARICA..

possibilmente tutto contrato.. scs ma se lo farai t ene sarò sempre riconoscente e ti loderò per l'eternita !! GRAZIE !! RISP

  • can you tell me pliss... how to make... the light effect for the search light....

i'm allmost finished mine... but i dont know how to add the light effect.. can you tell me pliss....

  • @haritscool08 I used 2 cylinders inside each other (each spotlight), with opacity and a little of lens effect (Render > effects > lens effect > glow > assign the material number), but you can also put target spot lights, adjust the thickness of the light beam and add volume to them (render > effects > volume light > pick light - and adjust the power), but this second way to get it done takes longer to render!

  • not bad! look on my version this intro :)

  • nnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnninininininiininnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiininininininnninininnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnininiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • I saw a project file somewhere like this floating around on some warez page...did you get it there?

  • @nsvr6 apparently it is on many sites!

  • wow

  • wow, just wow

  • how long did this take you? :O its amazing!

  • As far as I can remember, I don't think it took me more than 3 hours, to model and animate it, plus one hour for the computer to render it and 15 minutes to add sound to it!

    Thank you!

  • excellent!

  • Thank you!

  • dayam

  • Star Wars Fanfare....

  • @StarWarsFan786 Originally this theme was from 1954 with the debut of "Cinemascope". And yes, it's also from the Star Wars Episode IV Soundtrack.

  • @Rlotpir1972 Oh, interesting. I thought John Williams re-recorded it with the London Symphony Orchestra.

  • @StarWarsFan786 John Williams conducted the FOX fanfare for Episode V and Episode VI.

  • @StarWarsFan786 It WAS re-recorded for Episode V and Episode VI.

  • @Rlotpir1972 Yes it was but it wasn't re-recorded for Episode IV.

  • @StarWarsFan786 i believe it was re-recorded in the prequel-era too

  • @StarWarsFan786 yeah, Alfred Newman (i believe Randy Newman is related?)

  • @Rlotpir1972 Though i menth "Episode IV" when i said "Star Wars". "Star Wars" was the original title for "Episode IV: A New Hope".

  • castaa,castaa

  • i think he didnt do anyhing thats the real one

  • Oh Yeah: (thank you, by the way) - Just look at the top edges of the montains, how square they are! I actually left that way in case someone ever cogitated this is the real one!

  • @sandrony2004 it's a good job, man!!!

don't get fooled by the man!!!

  • Thank you!

  • can u show how to make it??

  • Nice job on this, it's so very accurate!

  • How'd you make the searchlights?

  • I should have used spotlights with volume light effects, but I didn't know it at the time, so I used 2 cylinders inside each other (each spotlight), with opacity and a little of lens effect (glow)

  • I know, lame method, but that's what I knew back then... apparently it served its purpose!

  • i didnt know that you can do so many and complicated things with 3dmax,your videos are amazing.your job makes me wanna start again :D

    keep it up!

  • So do it! I took a 3ds Max course in 1997 and didn't use until 2008, when I had already forgotten everything. After having watched 5 tutorials, I was back on track and on fire! Thank you for your comment! I look forward to see what you can do!

  • ...ganz großes Kino...

  • Comment removed

  • No, it is not Blender - I made in 3ds Max 9.0

  • Darryl F. Zanuck in great new bio (All About Jeffrey Hunter) at amazon!

  • a mi profesor le salio igualito

  • When will they start calling it 21st Century Fox? It's long overdue.

  • Just because we're in the 21st century doesn't mean 20th Century Fox must change its name. The name remains the same, for it reflects the Hollywood classics.

  • The opening music for the 20th Century Fox is great, but all they need to do is change 20th to 21th.

  • 21th? u mean 21st...

  • oh..oops my fault..i just realized that..thanx

  • 20th Century Pictures and Fox were at one point separate companies. Calling themselves 20th Century Fox was never a plain marketing thing, it's part of the branding of the company that resulted from the merger.

my point being, they are not going to change their name to 21st century fox.

  • @rocabear maybe its called 20th century because they started in the 20th century? >_> they shouldnt change the name. It reminds everyone that they are still here after that long time. Plus changing the name would cost a LOT of money.

  • @TheCentrix - No, the name comes from the address of the original company, originally located at the number 20 of Century BLVD. Then it merged with Fox. It has nothing to do with calendar years.
