iPHONE USERS - Please select "HQ" mode when viewing this video. Otherwise, the audio will be monaural. "Polar Path" was recorded in stereo and sounds best when played back that way.
I don't know if other mobile devices also work like this.
I remember how you dislike 5X9 reports. Where is the fun in great strong signals. That is where FM is at, yet I still remember you tuning in white noise swearing up and down there was something audible in there. All I ever heard was a migraine scraping up to my eyeballs. LOL.
@willrobinsonensoniq - That's because you have to be a Cylon to hear anything in the noise...
Anyhoo...there is something toward the end of Polar Path I hope you can recognize. I don’t remember if was intentional, yet the piano work in the last few bars sounds like the spooky calliope near the end of “The Chauffeur”. Do you hear a Duran² influence ?
Thanks Bill ! It must be the longwire antenna. I'm glad you know where this song is coming from. I've since added a video description so everyone else will get it.
There are a few spots in Polar Path where the SQ-80 filters don't reset quickly enough between notes. You'll hear it as a snap or quick chirp that sounds like a poorly-encoded mp3. It's more noticeable near the end when things get busy. I'm not sure how you can fit that into your signal report.
nice track

@willrobinsonensoniq - Work and home are keeping me busy (at work right now). At least I've not been underground for a while.
I found some time to search for the latest SQ-80 videos. There are a few new ones since I checked last...cool.
I must find time to finish "Rahasia", "Byte Me", and "Last Neuron". None are more than half done...not cool.
