Ah! Marcello, excelente. Este concierto, el mas conocido del compositor, del cual el mismisimo Bach hizo arreglos es ciertamente una gran obra-maestra de la musica universal; su intimidad, su profundidad, su asociacion mental y espiritual con el Vacio Iluminador...
I was looking for a concerto to play - my university was a concerto competition every year and I want to participate. this one is definitely on the list!! so beautiful!
In this version at least the melody line played by the oboe is from Bach's transcription for harpsichord and not the original line of A. Marcello. If you like it, it is very interesting to look for/listen to the differences between the versions.
The Albinoni piece of Barouque music for Oboe. That I mentioned is, ' ALBINONI OBOE CONCERTO IN D MINOR MOVMENT NO 2. Hope you enjoy it,l as much as I do.Love and Piece to everyone.
What a beautiful piece of music. I love the oboe so much, wish I could play one. It always reminds me of some kind of bird singing, especialy with the baroque trills. there is one piece by, barouque composer, Albiloni that has an oboe too, it's simply amazing. You have a great taste in, beautiful music my friend. once again, thankyou for introducing me to such amazing pieces. Love and Peace to everyone. From Sheffield uk.
Si de hecho, por algo el Oboe es quien da el tono de afinación en la orquesta. De hecho su timbre es el más penetrante de todos los instrumentos si nos damos cuenta. ¡Saludos! Carpe diem ;)
Such a beautiful piece, one of my favorites for oboe. From the first time I heard this on the animated film "A Journey Through Fairyland" when I was a kid, I fell in love with it. Since that time, I have become an oboist myself! :)
Incredibile,il cuore ha preso il posto della testa, della ragione e tutto diventa soave,ma,allo stesso tempo, tutto diventa triste, tremendamente triste.
I love this concerto and this movement especially but i think this version is lacking depth. Listen to the recording by Diana Doherty (Principle Oboist- Sydney Symphony Orchestra). I think too much vibrato is used by this oboist. Who is this oboist?

Rendering emotions about the past through a series of flashbacks, the harpsichord/strings open awaiting to hear the story. The oboe enters, living through the events and speaks. Through sadness ,misery, and losses we know his life is torn apart, hearing the oboe crying. The beautiful memories of his lost love enter his minds, but fades fast at 2:24 as he enters reality once more. He spirals downwards till he is at war with himself thus handing himself to God, leaving fate in his hands.
what a great Masterpiece, you speech well my friend, I agree with you ,and I appreciate your comment . Thank you for watching my video and for the great words, Good Luck !!
You remember me about a very big musician, oboist form Romania,Radu Chisu. Not to many oboist from Europa remember him today and it is sad!!!Maurice Bourgue spoke me about him,in a very deeply way,as human resonance that have it whit him as musician and very good friend of Mr. Chisu. The name of Mr. Radu Chisu rest in peace and for EVER on the ARD MUNCHEN(2 Price),PRAGA(3 and 1 Price),GENEVA(Special Mention) Oboe Competitions.Good Bless him in Heaven and your angelical sound and way of musicality.

Well, if you look after him, you will see the hand write by Alessandro Marcello who arange and script the pertiture from this beautiful song, as you see here it's just the second part from this partiture, sorry but I don't have the script( note) but as I get this I will send you,ok?
Alison Balsom does a good version on the trumpet--it really penetrates the spine, quite a different sensation than the oboe. Well worth listening to if you love the piece.
Wow ! thank you again for your sweet words and for reply...well Mjarta it's one of my favourite from A.Marcello, it's a great song..calm and relaxing classical partiture(piece)....
