  • i dislike dfh a lot

    a lot

    a looot

Addictive Drums or Superior 2.0 FTW

  • i agree with you!!! Dfh has fake sounds...

    I use BFD 2. Try it ;)

  • do i need to have ezdrummer before i can use dfh or can i use it without.

  • Yea, the performance is pretty horrible, so is the guitar track you have to go with the intro. I also would hope you can get a better snare sound out of that software too, that shit got annoying pretty quickly.

  • @HeroesAreWords oops i missclicked the "vote up" button

  • Not bad...... still my point is I can still get A SHINE CUSTOM from ROBBIE at the 2500 price because I own a widely used studio, NO ARTIST DEALS FROM RET......... I GUESS. SHINE IS WILLING TO GET ME A 5k set for less than 2k, cuz they realize that i can get them a couple kits sold a month,

  • Although we do handle special artist prices, we feel that there is no comparison in feel, looks, and comparative price point for any other high end electronic drum set. To trigger software, like WillHunt314 says, you get much more bang for your buck versus any acoustic drum set.

I would strongly encourage you to go to our website, just to take a look at our world. We love acoustic drums, but we also like to make playing live and recording easy!

  • These drums are awesome and I definitely feel this is the answer to my apartment studio, However $3k RET....... you guys are missing the mark on the PRICE POINT I can get CUSTOM BUILT kits for this price from SHINE, TRUTH and SJC, Maybe worth $2k at the most. I would say if you were actually using your own technology Ex(software/trigger) but its all third party you are cutting down full shells and throwing heads on em and selling em for $3k, just dont agree with the price at all,

  • These drums ARE awesome!

But, you're way off on prices. I just got my RET Stealth Pro kit from Virtual Percussion Outlet for 2500. I even looked at the roland stuff, but couldn't justify getting second rate drums and SOUNDS for about 4 or 5K?! NO WAY!

And I had looked into SJC, but I can't afford 5K for just some pretty shells.

The 'price point' is amazing. You get the best edrums and with some software, I have over 20 drumsets and 200 gigabytes of beautufilly recorded drum samples.

  • what snare drum do you use in this video :O it sound's awesome !!

  • hey i just bought ezdrummer, just regular i have a roland td4k, and i cant get it to play the sounds through my drums from ezdrummer pleease help, and i also have a midi to usb cable

  • After shooting 9 videos in one night, Mikey was plenty tired! He went through 2 different camera guys that night because they couldn't keep up with him.

He's actually a really solid player otherwise. He's told us that he isn't a soloist as much as a studio player.

  • Maybe you should put up your own video of you triggering software with your kit before you slam MikeyVpt.

  • how would that make him any better?

  • I will say that this playing isn't the best, but I've seen his other videos. And even HE says that this playing is crud. It's just showing the software. He's not playing some stupid beat where you don't learn anything.

  • I am into metal and progressive rock. Would this be a good expansion pack for that style of music? I am thinking about selling one of my acoustic kits and go VPT.

    Thanks!!

  • Drum Kit From Hell is PERFECT for prog rock, metal, and anything that needs a BIG drum sound. Going with a VPT package would definitely give you huge advantage.

Please visit our website for the closest dealer, or call and we'll find one in your area. Thanks a lot!

  • I like the virtual fire! Where did RET come from? I just thought there was Roland and Yamaha...

RET drums blow them away from what I have seen.

  • Without a brain, or one of the Trigger IO's, you can't just plug straight in. You need a trigger to midi interface (which is what the brain or IO would be).

  • Can you plug an electric drumset into your computer and use the EZDrummer to record tracks??? without the Brain???
