  • @Kinkycurlyhair aww, thank you so much. You are very kind :-)

  • Dont bother buying this hair!! The new packaging is not good quality. I just got it today and the type of "curl" you get is more like the waves you get when you take your hair out of cornrows. Thumbs down!!!

  • @IjeomaFrancisca hers came like that too...she has tutorials on how to get it to do the curl pattern she has it in

  • Can you make a video or discuss how you moisturize your hair under the weave please.

  • Wooow i can't believe you did all that by yourself, your really talented. . .i have a question everytime i get a sew in in that circle braid pattern my head always turns out lookin coneish how'd you stop that lol? is it the cape you put on it ?

  • im trying to learn to do my own weaves im just wondering do you take your weave out yourself or get someone else to do it ?:) x

  • umm scratch my last question lol. BUT have you ever used janet collection indian remi water deep weave? did u like it?

  • Yhu think yhu'll be able to use just one pack in a quickweave

  • wow amazing

  • i was thinking about getting the janet collection indian remy hair wet n wavy. i want to do a full sew in but i dont want it to like a wig because of the front it will def. look like i wig lol. so would it look okay to make a bang? or maybe do like invisible part using no glue?

  • Is there a reason you sew the hair to the cap versus directly to the hair braid?

  • Wow, how long did this take ?

  • you are a bad girl. i love it!!!!!

  • stop* by

  • Those attending the Bronner Bros International Hair Show, shop by booth 451 and enter our "Strike a Pose" contest!

  • @JanetCollectionTV hey... i have a question... how come some ppls hair didnt look like hers? like theres would look more slightly wavey than curly... was it a bad batch or something cuz im sooo scared to order it and i get a more wavey than curly... thanks

  • What you have is a gift ... you have something that Cos. school could never teach !!! Most of the best were never taught ! Its something they watched and transformed into there own. That installation was amazing ! KUDOS !!!

  • hey, how many packs did you use?

  • awesome job I could never do that by myself....but that is waay to much hair for me I would have to stick to the one track, instead of doubling..lol

  • why do you use a stocking cap before sewing in the hair? i'm english and havent seen it before, though my hair is also uber natural and the last time i installed my full head weave it had shrunk so much that the hair at the front poked out underneath the bang lol, im contemplating texturising before my next installation but i'm not too keen on giving up the fro. would the stocking cap solve this problem?

  • u always look lovely with kind of hair do u have on this video..thumbs up girl!!!

  • I ABSOLUTELY love the hair texture..i might have to purchase some ;)

  • @lexyladybug81 from my local beauty store, they said they have to get rid of it for the red packaging , I am going to install it today, also i think it didnt sell because, it looks ugly on the packaging, the only reason i bought it was because of this video

I'm glad that you're getting more comfortable b/c really and truly, you are helping a lot of us out. Thank you again!! BTW I'm seriously going to get an install pretty soon (next month actually) I'm excited, but I pray that my hair doesn't start falling out....I've come too far as a natural for any major setbacks :)

  • why did you sew it on a cap does it protect the hair ? i love that hair like i love big and curly hair and i am definitly entering the contest you did such a GOOD job. btw would use this hair to make a wig like , sewing it on a wig cap or do you think it would be to heavy for a wig cap ? thankyou for uploading this video the only thing i have to say that kind of intimadates me about sewing hair is threadding the needle and the start b/c i havent seen a video on threadding it thank you :)

  • girl.......my arms would be falling off. I tried to weave my hair one, it came out nice but, my arms were so sore the next day. Good job.

  • Thanks for the video... very informative!!!!

  • Hello, can you please re-upload this video in real time, like a hair sewing series, with the different parts, especially how to sew unto the cap, what kind of cap to use, and how you sew in the front. Thanks, it would really benefit some of us beginners.

  • I love that u dont stop and cut the track. I never saw that before. I will have to try it. Does that help cut the time in half?

  • I am intereested in the contest le us know

  • wow! that's a LOT of hair...very nice

  • love your videos and you are a very nice and beautiful person.love that look on you.

  • Great job

  • what length do u have in ur hair

  • Wow,that's a lot of hair. Good job!

  • what does the net help with?

  • Luv the vid....what r u wearing on ur lips??

  • Awesome! Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video! It is greatly appreciated!!

  • WOW! You are sooooooo talented to do this yourself!!!

  • very talented missy. i'm thinking about making a wig of my own now...

  • Hello SongBird I was wondering if you have found the new red Janet packaged French not as curly as the old black label legacy package? I have read on supply shops and on youtubers that the new red legacy is more just wavey where as the old black label had nicer curl pattern. If so do you have a supplier who still has old black legacy package hair?

  • I actually did a review of both of the packages and the red package is different click on me to check out the review

  • In your opinion does this hair get as curly as the black and gold package? I went to buy the hair from the website you reccommended and it said the red package curl pattern has more of a wave to it, so I was a bit skeptical about buying it beceause i wanted it to curl the exact same way.

  • @CollegeKutie To be honest I haven't really noticed much of a difference in how curly the hair gets once it is wet between the black and red packaging. I'm not sure if it is because I used some products in it, but as you can see in the beginning of this video and in the picture at the end, this hair gets really curly/wavy as well. I've received a few messages telling me that the hair is drastically different, but that hasn't been my experience...

  • @SongbirdDiva4Life great! i definitely can count on your reviews b/c they're the best! =)

  • @CollegeKutie if there is any difference, I would say that probably these curls/waves are just a little bit tighter than the black packaging, but that could just be because I used some products in this one and not the other one. I'm going to wash the products out and see how it is just to make sure, but I really don't see a drastic difference. I'll be uploading an activating the curl video next so that you can see for yourself how easily it gets curly/wavy :-)

  • Very impressive I must say....

  • CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT CONTEST!

  • LOOVE this hair, I have been dieing 4 it. And this look with more defined curls is even better to me, it looks very nice. Good job

  • wow you did a really good job, your arms must have been screaming!

  • @ambygold81 Thank you so much :-) lol!!! They were. They felt like they were going to fall off. I normally take breaks in between, but since I was recording the video, I just wanted to do it straight through. I don't think that I'll be doing that again lol.

  • Great job!!! Thanks for sharing =)

  • lol i wish doing a self installation was really this fast. my arms be burning!!

  • ^ I meant 5-10 'mins' later.. Sorry

  • u have BEAUTIFUL hair!! and that janet hair is gorgeous as well

  • Hey Diva, you did a wonderful job but can I ask you a question?? I had the Janet Collection hair a few weeks back( the straight hair) and idk if it was bc I bought it from my BSS and not the site but it shed so so so bad!!! I mean it shed like a dog and tangled really bad in the back. I would brush it, be left with a huge hair ball then 5-10 later my hair would become untamed again. Have you ever had this problem? Please respond bck please! Thank you!

  • @Babydoll0458 Thank you so much. Wow I dont know why that happened. Was the hair that you bought the Janet Legacy Prestige Born Yaki? If it was, that definitely was not my experience with it. The wig that I made with it is still in very good condition. I had very little shedding and I didn't have any tangling even after I washed it. I don't know if it is because I made a wig with it instead of a sew in, but that has not been my experience.

I'm sorry to hear that :-(

  • @Babydoll0458 i have experienced the came thing. Not so much the ball of hair but shedding and crazy tangling. First week it was fine but after that....a mess. I had the hair sewn into a wig and cut to fit my face and though everyone loves it they are not aware of my secret issues with it.

  • Typo i mean love the look!!! and how do you maintain it and how long will you keep it in

  • i LOVE THIS... how do you maintain this long and how long will you keep it in

  • what kind of weaving cap did you use Ms Songbird Diva 4-- Life?

  • I love it!I REALLY admire people who can 1,cornrow & 2,install their own sew-ins lol!Grt job & vid+loving that hair!!

  • This question might be silly but are you sewing to the actual braid through the cap Or are you just sewing to the cap?

  • @ladyKurlyK Its not a silly question, I'm sewing unto the braid through the weaving cap :-)

  • Very nice, please put up the next step to show how to get it curled!!!!!!

  • hi, I have a question about wig you need to wear do you take them of every nights or do you sleep with the hair? I am asking coz you don't use any glue.. so

  • What is the length on this hair and also how long do you keep your weave in? especially with having a cap on?

  • Thanks for the tutorial! This hair is definitely not for the timid....lol. Thanks for sharing ; )

  • I always thought that the braiding technique for weaves was so cool looking... I never had weave, but when I would go to the hair dressers to get my hair cut and stuff, I'd watch the hair dresser do weaves, and I was like always hypnotized by the braiding technique.. wish I knew how to braid! lol

  • You look beautiful!

    xo

  • Thank you thank you thank you for this!!! I've been following you since almost the beginning of your channel and i've always wondered how you braided underneath to keep the full head so flat! Your a gem! God Bless

  • Thank you so much! I don't know if I can or will do it, but it's good to know that I know how now! LOL... My 3 mth old has a crush on you, I think. He watches your whole videos with me...how cute!

  • very nice hairdo- lookin good!!

  • Rarse is that how much natural hair you have got omg hhg girl xx

  • Quick question, your natural hair seems to be long enough to braid so my question is, why do you add the hair when braiding? Is there a benefit to that?

  • it's pretty!

  • i dont like these curls

do you have any product in there?

i love the way you had it before (last year) nice big puffy diana ross ish

hmm its still nice not a big & fluffy a i want it

  • @Dismamisupadupaphly yes, I have products in it. Last year the only thing that I used was water. This time I wanted to see how it would look with some products in it. I'm going to wash out the products later on and see how fluffy the curls get. I wanted the curls just to be a little tamer this time, but I like it this way as well :-)

  • omg yes for a contest

  • omg this is so pretty i can see this with a curly bang and big curly fro or straight hair with a nice sleek bang ugh im loving this
