  • No matter if your big or small, black or white, Catholic or Jewish everyone is human. We are all a team. No matter what happens we will get through it together because we are one. I wake up in the morning to look foward. I love living life and i thank the muppets for that. Weather we are friends or not it's called respect. Fat or not we are a team that must stick together!

  • This song is so sad if you've grown up watching the Muppets

  • Ehhh WOKA WOKA!!!!!

  • The portrait of Piggy gets me every time.

  • You know I love "Man or Muppet" but I feel this should have been nominated for the oscar. It's my favourite song in the film (next to the redoing of Rainbow Connection and Lifes a Happy Song)

  • I swear to god I didn't cry during this.

And by that I mean my eyes started leaking from trying to stop myself from crying.

    And I'm trying not to burst into tears all over. ;_;

  • Saw the film yesterday and had a real lump in my throat during this. Absolutely brilliant film.

  • I'm kind of sad that this wasn't even nominated for an oscar. It's serius but still has sort of a tounge in cheek feeling to it. But hey. The muppets got an oscar again :D. After all these years the new generation of muppeters would have made Jim Henson proud no matter what Frank Oz sais. He's just an old bitter man now. Too bad actually. He has more tallent in one pinky finger than most muppeters in their whole body. But what are you gonna do :P.

  • @winnetouch I'm sure Frank Oz means no harm towards this film. After watching this, I do wonder what made Frank feel disappointed about this film's attempt. Then again, this feeling is kinda like the same way the Old Guard of Disney animation felt that they can make great films again in the 80s. And as we all know how that played, the current guard of Disney animators hasn't disappointed us yet. I guess it goes that you can't please predecessors no matter how faithful you are to their work.

  • @MORENOx112486 Well... The way he acted was more aking to being jelaus and bitter rather than just not pleased. I mean come on... He was on muppets from space (the biggest muppet faliour ever) but refused colaboration on this because it wasn't muppety enough. Come on... That's just weak, since this is the most muppety movie in years.

  • @MORENOx112486 And don't forget that his script was rejected in favour of Jasons...

  • @winnetouch Well, I'm aware of the impression that Disney wanted to work with Jason; I know nothing about Frank's script rejected for Jason's. However, I do know is someone months ago posted a comment saying that Jim Henson's children were please and said this film will make their father very happy. I tried to search it through the net but I cannot find their exact quotation to be sure if they really said it 'cause it proves even more to wonder what exactly is Frank unhappy about Jason's take.

  • @MORENOx112486 I remember reading somewhere that Frank was given a piece of the script and decided himself that it was nothing like a Muppets film. I believe it was the piece with the "fart shoes" in it (although if it was he completely missed the point when it comes to the character who brings it up)

  • @winnetouch didn't it win one for Best Musical?

  • @LOLGmod No... It won for best original song for maon or a muppet.

  • @winnetouch An award I would thought this would be a shoe in for, but then again I'm a rank sentimentalist.

  • @winnetouch Thats even better! :D

  • kids. when kermit talks you listen.

  • Best song in the film; the way it connects to the real Muppets franchise got me choked up :(

  • Gonzo The Great Will Rize Again!

(Fozzy Bear) I Didn`t Do it, Ive Been Framed

(Sweedish Chef) If Smor is in the Chicken, the Smor is in the Chikie

  • Yay Muppets!

    :D

  • i just love the whole soundtrack!!!!!

  • Love this song... It make me fell green!!!

  • not ashamed to admit I shed a few man tears when this played in the cinema

  • I love this song dunno why it makes me laugh xx :-):-):-)

  • Ahaaa, nice try Jason Segel! Trying to get me to cry...of course not...*sniff* I mean, it's not like...*Sniff*...it's...

    *Bursts into tears*

  • Why does Kermit always sing songs that make me want to bawl?!?! This and Rainbow Connection and It's Not Easy Being Green, man, I can't even. This one is the saddest tho.

  • @BombWarning What about Happy Feet?

  • i love this even thought ive been framed

  • when i saw the movie i nearly cried at this song :') love the muppets get them back on tv!

  • Look at the album cover,....when you see it!

  • I have missed the muppets for so long, then this movie came out. I was so happy and still am. :)

  • I love the bit where he says he loved Fozzie's jokes - I'm crying just thinking about it.

  • the best part was from swedish cheff

  • @iMysticMann des ferda shun do urg es furn de chicken!

  • Gosh, this got me so choked up when I first saw it.

  • See What Man Has Done? The Muppets Give HOPE! Jim Henson Gave us something to enjoy, so did All those old shows back in the 70`s. Even those school House rock commercials and The Jetsons, Etc.

  • @MrJackonRocks Haha I see you are so implicated !

  • I love this song especially when they all join in!!

  • This song relates to everyone. How many people have lost contact with their friends simply because they don't see them any more, or because they've moved away? That's the beauty of The Muppets. Everyone can relate, because at the heart of it, everyone is basically a Muppet.

  • @cyberleaderOri some friends i don't care abouy anyway lol

  • "Sometimes even frogs have rainy days" - This line killed me, i don't know why. I cried like a baby.

  • What's so great about this song is that you hear the sadness in Kermit's voice when he sings this!

  • THIS should be the song nominated for the Oscar!

  • I just want to say this is such an amazing song!

  • Why Why Make me cry again

  • the muppets are the best a new muppet show would be awsome must have pigs in space

  • This song made me cry so hard when I was watching it in the theatre...

The Muppets will always be amazing

  • @alevsener2 a damn good movie. some people can't look past the puppets. but i never saw puppets in the movie. All i saw were Muppets.

  • Also weeped. Even when Kermit sings a melancholic song like this, it's hard not to feel your heartstrings are being tugged like crazy.

  • this whole album is kick ass

  • I really don't understand why that stupid Man or Muppet song was nominated for an Oscar, but not this one... this was the best song in the movie imo....

  • @thewalrusaurus what you should be asking is that they should of made a new category for best album in a movie and there you go automatic win :)

  • Such an amazing movie. I loved it. I had a tear in my eye by the end. :')

  • i am ashamed of myself... i din,t cry when i heard this song... but when i sing along here: i cry :) i'm proud of myself now.

  • start of scene : "this is ok : )"

Start of this song:"ok... this is sad"

    20 seconds in " Oh... :/ "

Start of other characters talking " :("

    All start singing " :'(

2:18 " HOLY MOTHER OF GOD WHYY!!!! :'(

  • this song is rough, it really does reflect the sadness of nostalgia and old friends long past

  • Jason Segel has really done JIM HENSON Proud, hit LIKE if you agree

  • this made me have to knuckle me eyes in the cinema cos basicaly hes just looking at all their pictures and crying sorta

  • I can't beleive gonzoa had a destroy plumbing 'buisness' button

  • when in the end richman wins but gonzo saves day!!! he throws his head a bowling ball and TECH RİCHMANS GİVES BACK MUPPET STUDIOS TO MUPPETS!!

  • @Kennythehedgehog56 thanks for giving away the ending

  • @Kennythehedgehog56 Try not To Give Away The Ending Next Time, Okay?

  • @Merrymolly23 why a guy thanked for this Am I Gonna Ask You to type ending -,-

  • When I went to see the Muppets, I expected a light-hearted romp with hilarious antics.

What I got were tearful ballads of lost memories and existiential crisises.

Couldn't finish my popcorn because tears.

  • @SharkhamAsylum Then again, the Muppets were known not just for their merry and humorous misadventures, they also had some somber, earnest moments that incurred themes of why we must follow dreams, keep hope alive, and even why our individual lives exist. Look at when Gonzo sang "I'm Going to Go Back There Someday" and you'll see what I mean.

  • "or did something break we can't repair" makes me think of the passing of Jim Henson.

  • I've never cried at a film before, but this song actually made me well-up a little, I didn't cry, but I welled up nonetheless.

  • Jack Nicholson should have been the villain in the movie.

  • i was crying so hard when this song came on and im 12

  • This was uploaded on my 14th birthday :D

  • Good lord, how could anyone not find this sad? I mean, it's just so mournful.

  • i watched the muppet show as a child with my parents, and then completely forgot about it for over 7 years. i casually chose to see it one weekend. when i heard this song, i suddenly remembered all the wonderful memories i had during my childhood, singing 'mahna mahna' with my parents or pretending my dogs were characters from the muppets... hearing this song and seeing some of my favorite actors in the film made me feel like my childhood and teenage years are somehow interconnected.

  • We need a new Muppet show on ABC that is not geared specifically to kids, but to the whole family. I saw some of the muppet thing they did on Disney channel, and I don't want that.

  • @MrAwesomeriffic If they gonna make the muppet show they are doing it on disney channel believe me

  • @luigimario12345678 That would be so offensive... Henson had the show cancelled at its highest point so it would be remembered... and so that it would never go bad...

  • @luigimario12345678 Yeah, I know. Just wishful thinking on my part

  • Thumbs up if you lost it when you found out Ms. Piggy and Kermit separated.

  • childhood of today really did miss out on the, the muppets and sesame street! shame they have crap nowadays like, missed on worr kermit,

  • @TheMrsCass My parents brought me up on The Muppets, and I'm only 16. They also made sure I watched Sesame Street too.

  • @MyBrofist yeah i was brought up with them too, best tv programme on tv.

  • All right, as a person who isn't much of a big Muppet fan who went to see the movie with a friend who is a Muppet fan, I teared up at this song too . . .

  • I saw this on sat with my girlfriend and during it the small girl next to me turned to her mum and said loudly "Mummy why is that boy crying?" To which my girlfriend and the girls mum both burst into laughter.

  • THUMBS UP IF THEY NEED TO MAKE THE MUPPET SHOW AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @remlly it won't let me thumb up your comment! :(

  • @TheADBPCompany WAHT! !!!! :(

  • @remlly they already have!:-)

went and saw it on the cinema:)

  • @remlly Shh.. It's a suprise

  • What's really great about this movie is that it really gets you to feel emotion - whether it tugs at your heart strings with this song or over whelming happiness with "Life's A Happy Song"...

  • u do dude

  • 5 Twilight fans watched this video out of jealousy because even though their movie (Twilight) made more money than The Muppets, they can not deny the fact that The Muppets is a far superior film!

  • Aww~ This Makes Me Think Of A Sad Shawn Spencer(Psych)

  • When i was little this was my favorite song and i watch muppets all my life like the christmas carol and stuff and this song is still my fav song!

  • @MrCookiemonkster Dude, you know this song debuted in the new movie right?

  • @lovemuffintop30 yes yes i do and i am not a dude

  • ♥´¯`•.¸¸★°•.☆

  • 5 people don't have pictures in their heads...

  • the movie has been out for 2 days here in holland and i have been to every time since it came out in the movies 8 times xD and its still awsome

  • Even frogs have rainy days.

  • Who said they don't make classics anymore?

  • They might have been unbearable, but I still loved your jokes...OH! I GET IT!

    Un-BEAR-able! Yeah, Wakka Wakka!

Sorry, tried to pull a Fozzy. Did it work?

  • @m0urningwerw0lf371 yes, it did.

  • This song can both bring you to tears - and then bring you down laughing!

  • This song is so true! I wasn't even born early enough to see the Muppet Show and I still love it!!!!!

  • dear lord. I didn't cry during the movie while hearing this, but now that I'm not... cue waterworks.

  • 1..2..and a half!

  • This song made me cry it Is so touching and sad

  • I blubbered in the theatre with this song. Crap, I didn't cry for Titanic! This was just too much. Jack, who? I'll never forget Kermit. =)

  • @LadyLithedhel im with you, all the way. screw the Titanic! i live for The Muppets!

  • @LadyLithedhel the Muppets are real, titanic is just an internet rumor like there is a country named Turkey!

  • @LadyLithedhel Titanic? you must've been mistaken with the muppets show :) i don,t know a movie named Titanic.. The muppet movie, thats ringing a churchbell!

  • This movie is absoluty fantastic, anyone who hasn't seen it go and see it!

On a different note I started to cry in this song, I really felt for Kermit in this song :)

  • Why didn't this song get the Oscar nomination?

  • @TheVivvav Pretty much every song from this movie deserved it.

  • @TheVivvav I think the problem was a lot of their songs were nominated, but they only allow one now, which is why only Man or Muppet and the other song which will not win are the only two nominees.

Either way, muppets win, thats all that matters.

  • @TheVivvav It seems the Academy Awards' committee didn't think this was the best one. It was a good one, but to them, it couldn't have been the best.

  • the muppets obviously want to come back :(

  • This song makes me so sad! I loved that movie so much though

  • *sigh* They don't make 'em like this anymore.

  • DAMN MUPPETS, YOU SAD!!

  • my mom was so teary eyed during this scene seeing all the muppets relive their famous roles even for a few seconds in their frames

  • @canadianbaconbro i did too :(

  • @canadianbaconbro i was and im a 14 year old straight dude.... the muppets reach all generations

  • I NEVER FORGOT ABOUT YOU, MUPPETS!

  • LIKE IF U LOVE THE MUPPET SHOW AND WANT IT BACK

  • I remember everything Kermit sang about. Made a tear come to my eye. It really made me feel like I was a child again. For a brief moment I was back in the early 80s again. And anything that brings back those great old memories is awesome. Like remembering your first Teddy bear that you took everywhere you went.

  • Damn! these song made me cry!

  • I absolutely love this song, it's truly a perfect Muppets song.

  • if anybody saw my comment on "Rainbow Connection" she cried just as hard at this song, it makes you want to go back to the days of Sesame Street, and the Muppets. I wish I could do it all again. <3

  • WOKA WOKA <3

    MA NA MANA <3

  • Kermit Fuzzy And Animal Are My Favs :) <3

  • love this song!!

  • This was the most touching song Kermit has ever sung. Hats off to Steve!
