Step 1- Mix the food coloring, cornstarch, and water together in a separate bowl. Step 2-Pour your mixture into the sand. Step 3- Mix it all together! Step 4- Play!!! Wasn't that much easier than staining your hands?

so I made moodsand the other night....if you have regular sand, the easiest way to add colour to the sand is to die the sand directly (I used Wiltons die-works wonderfully). Now in this vid she adds the water to the cornsarch, howeve when you do this you get the gooey liquid/solid mixture. What I did was mix the cornstarch to the sand first then added my water to the sand mixture. this was much easier and i was able to messure how much water was actually needed, was fast and easy
