i just want to say thank you to duracell for the batteries, as a small fire dept. the batteries that we recieved can last us over a year, powering our PASS alarms an flash lights, once agian thank you for helping us do the thing we do...helping others in their time of need.

To ceh2os - Even though you don't need the thanks or the praise, know that we truly appreciate all that you do. The only thing I disagree with, is that you are not paid enough for all that you do. Not many careers have the camaraderie that you share with your fellow firefighters.

My son has been a volunteer firefighter for 18 years and I am proud of what he does. He is going to help you whether you thank him or cuss him, but it is much appreciated when they are recognized for what they do. How anyone can dislike something like this is more than I know. It's sad when people think that the police, and fireman are bad people. Yeah sure some police can get power hungry, but that doesn't mean they don't help save lives everyday
why only volunteer fire fighters? career fire fighters are just as brave and risk their lives just the same. career fire fighters get paid because the difference between them and volunteers is that career firemen work alot more shifts that it makes sense to pay them instead of cramming in a salary from another job. volunteers have other jobs, career firemen just fight fires, not to mention not see alot of their family.

This is awesome. My dad, brother, and two of my good friends are firefighters. They are all volunteer. Everyone tells us to thank a soldier but nobody thanks a firefighter, even though a little less than 3/4 of them are volunteer who risk everything ever single time they go into a fire.
Who care if he is looking at the lyrics the main thing is that he is showing his appreciation for us fire and emt personnel and for that I say Thank You C-Lo for the awesome song.

As for me, I appreciate this. Yeah corporate America and all because it is a battery company. But you will realize how essential a battery is! For that, it seems less political of a product than other kinds of corporations like FDA and such.

Great Song! Thank You! I was a Volunteer Firefighter in Stuarts Draft,Va. for 18 years my late father was chief for 11 years Im sure he would have been greatful to hear this song!

@bdemps11 I 100% agree with you. I'm about to become a volunteer at age 14 and Nobody ever thanks the men and women who risk their lives everyday doing what they enjoy or protecting citizens of the township, county, or city. There is one company that I have helped out several times.

why only volunteer fire fighters? career fire fighters are just as brave and risk their lives just the same. career fire fighters get paid because the difference between them and volunteers is that career firemen work alot more shifts that it makes sense to pay them instead of cramming in a salary from another job. volunteers have other jobs, career firemen just fight fires, not to mention not see alot of their family.

@piper2775 thank you for the time you get in. but everyone's situation is different, and firefighters are apart of everyone. for some people it makes sense to be a career firefighter, and some are volunteers. i dont question your personal lives. All i can literally do is pay taxes, donate a little to my local precincts, and thank firefighters in general for risking their lives for the sake of everyone. stay safe

This is awesome. My dad, brother, and two of my good friends are firefighters. They are all volunteer. Everyone tells us to thank a soldier but nobody thanks a firefighter, even though a little less than 3/4 of them are volunteer who risk everything ever single time they go into a fire.

To all the people that "dislike" this....it's not about him looking at his cell phone. It's about the meaning of the song. I hope you all never have to call 911 for a fire. But maybe if you do, you will appreciate how these guys and gals put their lives on the line when the respond to a call.
