Attila was a Hun. Forefather to our glorious Hungarian Country HE ESTABLISHED and got our origional Hungarian territories... The origional Hungarians have 3- bloddline, flow,as ONE... Huns, Ugars,From ,our founder, "Arpad" the great ,And FINN, which settled in the now modern day Finnland. thats is our blood brothers. I know my history, beacause I was thougt, from childhood..
and GET THis STrait... Hungarians, are no mixed breed and certenly, not TURKS..
the only thing inacurate about this movie is everything. as far as I knew the huns did not line in tipis like the indians. nor fought with swords...uter crap. made for westerners who love romanticizing about who they referred to as barbarians. it started with Braveheart.
Attila the Hun was NO myth, but a real character in history who ruled the Huns in the 5th century A.D. Despite the Roman Empire's failure to do so, the Huns conquered the Persian Empire, thus threatening the Eastern Roman Empire, that finally paid tribute to the Huns for many years out of self-preservation. The Huns do not "come from" the Hungarians, and no one has a right to claim ownership to a historic figure, however distorted he might appear to be.
While it is my opinion that this film does not do justice to the appearance of the historic Attila, I call your attention to the Hungarian film "Honfoglalás", or, in Engish, "The Conquest", a story of the Hungarian re-settlement of Europe in 896 A.D., and the establishment of the Kingdom of Hungary by the founding father Arpád, who, in the film, is played by an Italian actor! He also happens to sport short, well-groomed hair and a neatly trimmed, close-cropped beard.
And I have 2 friends named Attila and a friend named Atilla... And I'm a Turk.... So are they...:)... So; there are strong evidences that Hungarians are Central Asian origin... And Turkic people are Central Asian origin too.(Nowadays Kazakhstan,Uzbekhstan,Turkmenistan etc.)....Sooo?!?!?!
This video is distorting history. Huns are black-eyes, flat-noses, mongoloid nomads living and fighting on horsebacks. When the hell in history did the Huns became color-eyes, high-noses, caucasian foot soldiers?
Atila people (the Huns) was from weastern Mongolia its possible those goldiers represent weastern tribes in europe. But this is a very poor repesentation of Atila and the Huns.

The movie missing any historical facts.
-Bad builded personality of Atilla.
-Nowhere is the spiritual message of the Atilla legend.
-Missing any knowledge of the Hun culture.(clothing, buildings etc..)
-Dont telling Atillas mission to punish the Romans for their sins.
-Shows the huns as a barbarian(ALL OF THEM were alhabet, read and write 1500 years ago!!!from the sheppards till the generals all of them)
So,all together was a bad movie wasted 3 hours from our life.

Genghis Khan united many tribes and some Turkic tribes (Uygurs, Kazakhs and etc.) and formed Mongolian Empire in 1206. He is also descendant of Huns.

The Huns had nothing to do with the Turkish people, except that they became victims of the Hun conquest and subjects of the Hun Empire.

And when the hack in history did the black-eyes, flat-nose Huns became representing the color-eyes, pointy nose western tribes in Europe?
stephentsang2000 3 years ago
O dear... i meant that Atila made those tribes in the north of roman empire his allies and part of his army.

WTF is with the poor camera quality and shitty effects. I want a movie about Attila in the vein of 300.

What a bunch of nonsense~!
If black-eyes, flat-nose, mongoloid Huns are color-eyes, high-nose, Arabic-looking Turks people, then Japanese are British.
