Just remember just because you do not see anything wrong here before you make final judgement you need to read the USDA inspection reports. Here this person on several visits had filthy kennels, flea infested. Some dogs were dehydrated and some dogs were lethargic. One puppy had it's limbs distended and needed immediate vet care. Some of the buildings were in need of major repair. At times these dogs were kept with no fans or ac and the temps reached over 92 degrees/
I'd say as long as these dogs actually get out of the cage once in awhile (who knows if they do) and the temperature is somehow regulated I would say this is a nice setup.
Ive seen neighbors who keep their dogs as "pets" in a small run in the backyard and the conditions are 100 times worse than this.
The mothers are taken in a well lighted, heated or air conditioned facility where they have their babies and are raised and handled daily. thenopuppymills226 obviously doesn't know anything about licensed legal kennels and believes all the propaganda that HSUS and PETA are throwing around to get donations. Get a real job!
Lucky as these dogs? These dogs NEVER get out of the cage. What is wrong with you? These dogs NEVER get socialized. These dogs NEVER have human companionship. Covered cages???? What about the WEATHER??? You all must be breeders here trying to justify how you make money. By selling puppies that can't defend themselves.
all these videos can be used to show are elected officials what legally licensed kennels in compliance look like when presenting the case for them along with accompanying statements of beneficial impact to the state in terms of revenues.
I'm curious to know why you singled out this facility since I can't see anything fundamentally wrong in this video. Unless there are a dozen more buildings, it seems like a reasonable number of dogs to care for easily. In fact, it doesn't look all that different from your pens at the Sanctuary, although not as pretty. The dogs seem familiar with human presence and are not overly excited or anxiously expectant. Within the context of commercial breeding, this is quite nice.
Hmmm... I don't condone puppy mills, but in this case: large, roomy kennels, covered against the elements, dog house in each pen, clean wood chips on the ground, relaxed, good looking animals, paired off, no over-crowding, no anxious pacing, no paranoid barking. Not close enough to see if they have food and water, but by the look of the animals, I'll assume they have it. All in all, don't waste your time on this one - there are much worse places that actually need your help and energy.

I agree, the people taking these videos are trying to make issues where there are none. Most pets are not as lucky as these dogs look.
