Why doesn't the USMC requisition some ballistic shields from SWAT they were designed for breaching teams in confined spaces, I don't want any MW2 comment responces I can't care for video games but woudn't being given these things give you an advantage when put in a situation like that?

@RancidElf32 There must be something we can give them, I mean calling in heavy support to shell the house only gets you so far, we can't expect to keep blowing up peoples homes (the owners may have been forced to let them use their home), we need a way to clear these buildings without resorting to explosives in case of collateral or civilian damage and a way in which the lives of servicemen are not at risk, corner shot weapons in developement would work too I guess.

@RancidElf32 sure they are Companies like Body Bunker are making shield rated to level 3 and 4 NIJ which will defeat multiple hits from 7.62 by 51 and 7.62 by 54. They are heavy bastards though weighing upwards of 40 pounds. but if keeping me from any new holes is weighed with the prospect of humping another 40 lbs. Toss me a fuckin shield!
