  • ok wow by far some of the best flying ive seen with this jet!!!!!!! looks good too

  • thanks a lot - I am definitely going to do this -

another dumb question - how did you do the masking? doesn't the tape lift off the existing yellow when you remove it?

    thanks

  • @jbpence thanks a lot. We used the least sticky, green tape I think is the best, and then stuck it to some dusty or almost any surface, and then, just pressed down right where the blue meets the yellow and not the whole width. Also the longer you have it on there, the more that it will remove. Wasn't perfect but you can touch up with a small brush if you need to after

  • Another inspirational flight film, thanks & awesome piloting

  • @Snellcomp thanks for commenting, and watching. Check out Amazing Jet Aerial Passes and habu limbo. My favorite Habu vid !

  • very very nice flying there. I get my habu in a few days, I've been looking at different landing approaches and yours were great - especially in such a relatively tight space. Great job.

  • @xJae14x sorry for the late reply, thanks a lot. Check out the newest jet, Seb Art Mig29 videos

  • hey warderseeker!! awesome flying. i have an habu and i crashed it on my maiden. i finally got it fixed by buying the replacement airframe. my habu is ready to fly but im terrified to fly it. can i ask what d/r u used and expo upon flying in this video. i would greatly appreciate your input. right now i set it up to 70 d/r and 40 expo for everything. but i would stiill like to know what you set yours at? thx warder. happy flying!!

  • @MrRAMBO1918 40 expo is great, d/r 70 depends on how you have the rods in surfaces and servos, top hole etc Hope you had a better maiden, let me know if you have more questions

  • @MrRAMBO1918

did you repaint the yellow of the original too? what krylon colors are used?

i just got a brand new habu, so now is definitely the time to be painting!

  • @jbpence didn't need to repaint the original yellow. Use Krylon Fusion, not the H20 stuff. Sun Yellow or just Yellow and Royal Navy Blue were great

  • Nice pilot skills. I like the low upside down pass! I just bought a Habu and havent flown it yet. I'm waiting to upgrade to a DX6i Transmitter so I dont have to use the DX4e that came with my Super Cub....Super cub is my only Flying expirence so I hope I can Handle this EDF beast.

  • @hawkin32 For sure, get the 6i first so you can put some expo on all the surfaces, at least 35% That'll smooth the jet out for you

  • So, if you dive this thing then level it out how fast you think it goes?

  • @flyboyfx I"m sure it does 100mph straight and level. We can put the gps in a stock one and find out

  • @TheJokerWolf sorry just replying now. ya for sure, get that, or the new P47 is cool too

  • before i read the coment i was like wow that looks like an A-4....beautiful plane keep on flying!

  • @TheHighflyer9 thanks a lot, a few of us have these and we do formation. Circuits, loops, synced rolls and stall turns

  • again again and again, all good vids :)

  • @Berijs thanks a lot, great jet

  • ...

    Cool paint job.

    Thumbs Up ~ Eric

  • @joehandsome99 Wait till you see a few doing formation, all painted that way LOL

  • Great flying and video ... and paint job as well! Thanks for stating what paint you use, I can pick that up at the local WalMart and have been thinking about doing some repaints on my PZ warbirds ...

Haven't made the EDF jump yet but this looks like a good one to do it with.

  • @justlostagain thanks for watching. Good paint, just do'nt get the H20 version, seems to run really bad. Just Krylon Fusion and really light coatings at a time. If you try any other foam than parkzone, test it first to make sure it doesn't still melt it.

  • nice job!

  • @Pilotsofer thanks for watching

  • That looks great man!

  • @moolikeacow2 thanks a lot, Blue Angels scheme looks so good on almost any plane

  • Well that looks very good in the air i like it {"_*}

  • @spektrum33 Just a field paint job too, one afternoon. Little masking tape and poly, two cans of paint, not perfect but good in the air

  • Super cool vid, love the slo mo stuff.

  • @1BLADESHY thanks man, always looks good. Wait to see the Habu formation stuff we'll have up.

  • awesome slo-mo wheelie

  • @tomascontrerasjr thanks dude, they land so nice. Thought when I first got it, would take a while to slow down, but just gotta get that stall speed down to an art LOL

  • @warderseeker dude...you got the skittles....i am just getting my wings(landing when i want to)...any tips..tricks..advise???? please...ANYTHING WOULD BE HELPFUL..... you into scratch-building?

  • @tomascontrerasjr exponential is huge for helping you use just enough stick input to do what you want. If you have a DX6 or higher, put at least 35 or ever 40% + expo for JR and spectrum and -40% for futaba This is a great first EDF, when you want one, really great jet trainer No, not into scratch building much. I"m a mediocre builder, more pilot than engineer lol

  • Nice touch n goes Ronin, especially the ones with main gear only.

  • @baumanfamily Thanks Roger. Love slowing her down in the corners and just easing her into the landing

  • Wow did I see something different there? lolololol.

  • Wow, great flying! Sweet video as always.

  • @Ispintechno1 thanks dude, plane flies awesome

  • Damn Ronin that baby looks the tits now man ;-) every time i watch you fly that baby i say to my self i've got to get one of them,so this year it's going to be a xmas present to myself like you did LOL. thumbs up.

  • @startazz Thanks man, best EDF out there for flight envelope for sure. Xmas sounds good LOL

  • Nice looking Habu!!! Got rid of all that ugly grey foam. What kind of paint did you use?

  • @Tony28337 thanks Tony, it's Krylon Fusion paint. Up here in canada we get them at canadian tire, but I'm sure other places will have it. Doesn't bubble the foam on parkzone stuff, and you just have to keep it a little further away from other foam, and test it, should be good.

  • NIce wheelie lol loved the vid !

  • @bloodhound122 thanks dude, Watched the Thunderbirds do that the whole length of the runway last year, looks awesome on a full scale

  • Three things. Great looking Habu, awesome flying and April friggin' Wine!! Love it.

  • @777muzzy you bet, awesome tune. thanks man

  • Very nice. Have you got your Habu patched up yet?

    Cheers.

  • @longwave2007 got the wing plate off my other body, so I can do it now. Shoul dbe out saturday with Dave's new one too

  • How does that plane fly?

  • @rg26100 Flies pretty damn good. Best EDF flight envelope out there, but the paint job is custom.

  • Great Video! Great Flying! What kit is this? I'd love to pick one up.

    Thanks!

  • @chrisjenniferskippy It's the Parkzone Habu, bind n Fly version. Just painted her up like an A4 blue Angel Thanks for watching

  • Being retired U.S. Navy, I cannot tell you how happy this vid makes me. You make some of the best vids on YT. I bought my Habu because of your vids. I met JoeHandsome99 at the Sibley, IA Fly-In and he said he has talked to you before and said you are a cool flyer. I can't agree more. Awesome video, AGAIN! Thanks for all of your work on these vids.

  • @BryansFlyin Thanks a lot, Bryan. Get lots of great comments from people but really glad you enjoy the vids, and that you picked up a Habu.

Awesome jet to fly. Did you fly in the Navy? I bought my turbine bobcat off a Navy F18 Pilot, named Buck Garza. Awesome deal, and the jet flies like it's on rails. You've probably seen our Princeton Jet Rally videos too, want a F18 reallky bad LOL Eric is a great guy too, enjoy talking to him and watching the vids.

  • Nice touch and go's!

  • @mrbuki77 Thanks a lot, no other EDF you could do tight figure 8 touch and goes like that

  • Real cool video bro!

  • @polishedbrother thanks for watching, dude

  • I love the figure 8 touch and goes and the exhaust scrape landing. Great job on the vid, Ronin!

  • @PC9JEFF thanks dude, ya the ass of her is bouncing off the pavement lol

  • I think it's high time we get a few of these painted alike and do some formation.

  • @ljevans4 Dave got one for his birthday so we'll hopefully have that one painted up soon. With a #2 on the tail LOL

  • Ha Ha, up , down, up, down, up, down, up, and down and CUT!!! Thats a rap, LUNCH!!! LOL...nice flying Ronin...

  • @bckillick thanks dude, jet flies awesome and slows down so nice

  • nice paint job

  • @earthling1984 Thanks man, CD and I did it at kamikaze one day lol

  • Nice plane! What kind of paint do you think is best for a full paint job like this? Enamel is too heavy isn't it... ?

  • @Bing80 thanks, this paint is called Krylon Fusion Not the H20 version but just Fusion. Keep the can a little further away and no problem melting foam on most parkzone stuff. Test other types of foam first. Works awesome. We do all our Strykers in that paint too, plus PZ Mustangs, Trojans all look awesome

  • @warderseeker Cool! Thanks

  • Show off.

    ;-)

  • @nishbrown Just my regular flight with the Habu lol

  • Looks good with no silly snake sickers on her

  • @wkjms Ya stupid snake stickers are gone lol

  • :-)

  • @Skydive4ever Formation Habu to happen soon. See if we can paint em all like it

  • the habu is like a mix of an f-4 and f-16

  • @YourFriendlyMe The old Blue Angels were A4 Skyhawks, it looks a lot like one, and like one of the mirage's too

  • love this fast and stable plane, another great quality vid and flying skill display, slo mo's and touch'n go's are very nice. Also wheely at the end of the vid is cool ! lol

  • @beverke7 Just, bar none, the best EDF on the market for flight envelope

  • great show you fly man

  • @bassax7045 thanks for watching

  • Very Nice. You should rename the title to "Blue Angels Habu - Touch and Go Madness" Some very sweet touch and go's man! Im still jealous of the slo-mo you have available...

  • @RCRedBaron thanks man, Movie edit pro 15 I think, does a nice job of the slo mo. The Habu just is that stable for those figure 8 touch n goes. No other EDF could you do that with lol

  • as always a great video and some great habu fying there as well thanks for shareing

  • @randyneighbour thanks dude, always a great comment

  • nice flying.

  • @thypegasus thanks for watching, Habus just fly awesome
