For the first solo, rolling back the tone knob is sufficient. You don't have to change amp settings.

No, I'm not using a pedal on this solo. Umm and just to clarify, you meant to say that you know how to play the solo, but it sounds bad? Well all I can tell you is to keep on practicing and to have patience, you will eventually be great at it :) And if you are talking about the tone of the guitar, I just lowered the treble a bit.

Thanks!! Haha yea, I am tuned a half step down. Since it takes so long to tune an FR, I am actually trying to fit as many songs as I can that are played in Drop C# before I change it to another tuning.

Yes they are definitely worth getting. They are very reliable, great looking and play and sound amazing! But to get a real feel, you would have to try it yourself. Good luck!

Thanks Deldine70! Yea this was one of my favorite soulful solos to do, the difficult part for me was to try to be as accurate with the slow bends. I'll probably try the solo for Don't Cry later on, Slash definitely put a lot of feeling into that one, then again, he puts a lot of feeling in all of his solos. Thanks again for the comment!

Haha yea I'm still using photo booth mainly because iMovie doesn't have the visual effects like photobooth does (for this I do a slight blur effect), but I do edit most movies in iMovie. And yea it makes me a lefty, but it's okay, I will just have to keep on telling people that I'm a righty :)

Well I use actives in a Hellraiser and Slash uses passives on a Les Paul, we probably also have different woods,which would make the tone different. On top of that, he uses some pedals and I only use a 15 watt amp. But then again, I don't want to copy someones tone.
