  • lol all of those nazguls used to be kings like aragorn and he just whooped all of them.

  • why witchking has stabbe frodo with morgul blade i mean he wantet to make frodo like them for some reason??why

  • @vlakakoulis so he could bring the ring to sauron or connent sauron to frodo so its clear when frodo puts the ring on and to increase his burden i believe.

  • Aragorn: It would seem that Nazgul *puts sunglasses on* ran screaming...

    YEAHHHHHOOooooo

  • My horse is related to one of the ''nine's'' mare's in LOTR! She looks exactly like them, So every time we are galloping in open country I start singing this and pretend I'm chasing arwen. The occasional dog walker gives me a very strange look....

  • best part of movie 3:22-3:28

  • Thumbs up if you think the voice in the film that goes "Ishi.... ASHI..." at about 1.35 is awesome...

  • 1:12, soooo my new cpu background

  • YEA go aragorn he fcks sht up

  • *gasp* i shat my self when i saw that seen the first time i was 6y old

  • What is the language that this song is sang in? So epic.

  • @raverheadIt is no language, a language made by tolkien himself perhaps

  • I'm disappointed in how Peter Jackson did the ringwraiths - in 3 places Tolkein stated specifically that their eyes gleamed, glittered, with a fell light -- so what do we get but corpses with dark eye sockets -- the elves exist with one foot in each world, the Material & the Spiritual, so they shine with holy light. But the Nazgul are infused with dark spirit, & the corrupt energy that animates them gleams from their eyes - like the light of matter destruction at the rim of a black hole -

  • @SupernalOne really? i LOVE the Nazguls

  • @TheMorLhach

well, all in all, they are pretty good - they remind me a bit of the banshee in Disney's "Darby O'Gill & the Little People", with the hood and all -- you know how purists are, sometimes people become a little nerdy when their favorite fantasies are being put on screen - it's just a single point that had captured my imagination, the glittering fell eyes - but all in all, nobody could done LOTR better

  • @SupernalOne Yeah i think you're right. There was some things that were left which could have been great in the movie (i cant help but imagine them with glittering eyes)

Also their screams were one of my favourite thing^^ i love the screams

so true! Nobody could have done it better than PJ

  • nazgul is a turkish word. many words of fantasy books or other genres is from turkey or arabic. You will wonder what nazgul in turkish means: Nazgul translated is "Petite Flower". Is this not ironic? I also know the other meaning of Nazgul.

  • @QuranWithReason You assume that Tolkien knew enough Turkish to be aware of that. And please don't tar Tolkien with the same brush as other fantasy writers; say what you will about his writing style and the 'cliche' nature of the stories, but he sure as hell put together a well-fleshed out world to back those stories up. No major fantasy author to date has put so much work into languages for his stories, either.

  • @DrydicGuy Yes, do you know who Tolkien was? If you would know you wouldnt tell such false things. Tolkien was scientist for language. So, he created a new world with many elements of arabic, greek and old european mythology.

  • @QuranWithReason Yes I know he was a philologist. And the only influences of an Arab nature that I can discern are the Variags and the Haradrim (moreso the latter than the former). Granted I'm not arab or turkish so I don't notice smaller items of that nature, but the broad swathes of the legendarium are not mideastern.

  • @DrydicGuy ok. i only say what i know about this called "nazgul" term. so if you are interested you can ask other turks or a turkish professor. Actually it is not so important. I think this movie is very good and good for etertainment. Thats the onliest thing about this movie what i say for finishing.

  • O, I love this part of the movie. I just really do

  • Those hobbits are Impossibly Brave, only Bravest of Man can Stand and Fight against Nazguls

  • @Necron214 yet the hobbits can actually kill a nazgul, while men can't! hands, bravery comes in XS size as well :P

  • @ffsnerdic456 didn't Sam had Enchanted dagger? and as I understand, whole Fellowship crew was Fearless, except for Frodo...

  • @Necron214 well i didnt have this in mind...i was thinking about how merry killed the witch king with eowyn..

besides it was glorfindel who had said that the WK would fall long after the fall of fornost and not by the hand of a man... hobbits dont count as men , so thats why i said that can kill nazgul ;)

  • Hadnt watched these movies for a long time....how many or did any nazgul die?

  • do you know what happens when you're impaled in the heart by a morgul-blade?

because the way I know it, you turns into a slave of sauron... you become a wraith.... the nazgul are ringwraiths, you become a wraith....

  • TORCH DOES OVER 9000 DAMANGE

  • @PraetorSlayer2 OVER 9000?!?!?!?!?!!?one11?!

  • 0:56 it's the "Actually, i think I prefer math class..." look XD

    LOTR rulezz!!!

  • @Vultura1 hahahaha seriously!

  • Where can i DLoad it proprly?

  • One does not simply jump of the cliff.

  • I'd be like OH SHIT

  • Wow merry and pippin run off, and frodo just drops his sword.

  • @PraetorSlayer2 on the contrary, you can see that at 1:26 Merry and Pippin step in front of Frodo to protect him, but the Nazgul just shove them aside.

As for Frodo, wouldn't you freak out and drop your sword if there were 5 hooded guys twice your size with HUGE swords attacking you?

  • @daffodil977 sam was the only one who attacked the nazguls merry and pippin stands infront of frodo to protect him and frodo just drops his sword and trys to escape..and they werent attacking him .they were ABOUT to attack him.i tryed to kill frodo but aragon got in the way and threw a thorch at my face.so im all anti frodo and aragon right now =( and all i wanted was to give sauron a b-day present but instead i get stabbed in the face by a woman....a woman i tell you!!

  • @repulic5 ...YOU'RE the Witch King of Agmar?

wow, i'm sorry, sucks to be you man

  • @daffodil977 Frodo Lives!

  • GRANDE,SU YOUTUBE NON RIUSCIVO A TROVARLA,GRAZIE A TE ORA LA POSSO ASCOLTARE,GRAZIE MILLE

  • omg..... A nazgul is the dragon like creature that the WRATHES RIDE. All these videos are about the Wrathes nor Nazguls!

  • @geckosandreps1 'Nazg' means 'ring' (Asht nazg-- one ring) and 'gul' means spirit. These guys are the Nazgul, definitely.

  • @geckosandreps1

    dumbass thats a FELLBEAST

READ THE BOOK AND WATCH THE MOVIE

  • ill armor

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the song

  • @slipknotsdeathcross 'A knife in the dark'. It's on the LOTR soundtrack

  • Frodo would have failed unless Sam came...

  • Basically the same thing as Ultimatum, by immediate music. THey did a lot of the lord of the rings music i think

  • @Solarian2495 No they didn't...Howard Shore did the LOTR music. Immediate, I believe, wasn't even around for like 4 years after Return of the King.

  • @TerminalVelocity14

Oh, I diddnt know that, then I suppose immediate kinda copied off of LOTR music cuz one of their songs sounds a /lot/ like that, sadly i forgot the name tho

  • "BACK YOU DEVILS!"

  • The Nazgul are as epic as they are tragic. Consumed by hatred and desire. It is really a metaphor for the weakness of mankind.

  • The Nazgul have got some wicked footwear.

  • This music is heart stopping i fainted once.......not really but you get the idea :P

  • beautifull part: when the nazguls are on top of the watchtower how they all draw their swords at the same time...BEAUTIFULL

  • @appelflapkoning YES!! My fave part!

  • I'm lovin it:)

  • the name of the song?? please

  • Beautiful sequence. Just like in the book.

And the Nazgul theme is as chilling as they are.

  • as opposed to the other 8 who are nice gentlemen though slightly single minded are the life of the party! ever play LOTR conquest?

    do the combo x x x y y b NAZ-SHUFFLE

  • by eowyn some bitch who is stubborn, corny, only chartacter in the movies who has stupid cliche action movie lines

think about it the only female characters in the movies do nothing to help

Arwen runs around and crys alot then rapes aragorn in his dreams consistently

eowyn makes cliche statements and doesnt listen to what king theoden says

    and kills the witch king

who can stab a hobbit but cant kill some rohirrim bitch

think about it not so badass is he now?

    more like a bully

  • i love how the nazgul that aragorn impales with the torch doesnt actually run off the cliff he simply strides off kinda funny i think

you hafta feel bad for them all they wanted was to give sauron a really good b-day present and they get burned and slashed by the jesus wannabe i mean stabbing frodo was a little extreme but what do you expec from the "witch-king of angmar"

    who rules Minas Morgul

NOT ANGMAR and runs around bragging about how no man can kill him just to get stabbed in the face

  • @RecoilerSun the Witch King founded Angmar therefore "The Witch King of Angmar" but yes it is true he chooses to reside in Minas Morgul his lair.

  • pom pom pompom pom pom pommmm

  • Where did you get this piece of soundtrack from? Its not from the FOTR soundtrack. I played mine alongside yours and it was different.

  • Yay for Aragorn who saves them all = )

  • Yay for Nazgul!

  • Poor Nazgul. I realy felt sorry for them when Aragorn set them on fire.

  • this is powerful music its comforting to know amazing composers that rival the greats still exist

  • lotr rules

  • This piece gives off the feeling that an unholy creature has just arrived - very suiting :)

And I'm a huge fan of LoTRs.

  • 3 of the nazgul have names. the witch king, khamul and morgomir

  • hmm don't remember seeing the name morgomir in any of Tolkien's books. where did you find it?

  • None of them were kings until after they had the rings and then only 2 were kings. The First of the nine became a king by conquering lands and making himself a king (Angmar to the north of Bree and the Shire) and Khamul was an Easterling who became king through power(I think). The fell beasts were actually featherless birds with bat like wings. Nazgul means Ring(Naz) wraith(gul) in black speech of Mordor.

  • Just to be exact: the word for ring is actually Nazg, and the word for wraith is ûl. Think about Ash nazg (one ring).

  • just curious where did you get the translation from?

is is a real life language?

i never thought of it as nazg-ul

    always naz-gul

  • It's easy after analyzing the One Ring verse in the black speech, the sentences beginning with One Ring, start with Ash Nagz. Since Ringwraith has thesame word, Nagz must mean Ring, and therefor ûl is wraith

  • yes

  • Which Nazgul (old human king) is the one at 2:10?

  • Tolken never realy gave the nazgul nemes, there was the witch king and and then khamul but the others went unnamed by Tolken

  • i only knows that the Nazgul who stabbed with his blade frodo was The Witch king.

  • Tolken also gave a name for another Nazgul. Khamûl, (shadow of east) that one have the second best skill (after The Witch king) to "feel" the ring but he is aslo most sensitive to daylight. He was a old king from the east before he became a Nazgul.

  • he was a king until he become a nazgul. the ring turned him into this and if you wear the eing you see him almost like he was. see you!

  • Bub918 and legolasisthebest are right !!!

  • now i know what i dragon thing is called thanks

  • My favourite has to be the Rohirrim song in the third film when they ride to war on Pelannor Fields

  • Begining song: Weathertop, Aragorn battle song : The Caverns Of Isengard

  • The Nazgul were the inspiration for Dungeons and Dragon's Liches. Mortal mages who wished to avoid death, and thus became undead through mystical means, and can only be truly destroyed if the phylactery that contains their soul is destroyed. Much like the ring of a nazgul.

  • errr tolkien made it in 1945 smart guy

  • @HiveFleetHydra: Uhm, not really. According to Gary Gygax, may Megahedron bless his soul, the inspiration of D&D's liches came from the book "The Sword of the Sorcerer" by Gardner Fox... Also, the Nazguls' existences are not so much tied to the rings as they are tied to Sauron, so if anything they're more like undeads tied to "life" by the magic of a necromancer.

  • what 's song

  • I always get confused, a Nazgul is the serpent / dragon the ringwraiths travel on right?

  • no, the dragon thing is called a fell beast.

  • nazgul is those king slaves i think

  • a nazgul is the same thing as a ringwraith/black rider/the nine. the serpent dragon thing as legolasinthebest stated is called a fell beast. hope this helped!

  • if you remember the beginning it says

"Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,

Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,

Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,

One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne"

the nine moral men who received rings wore their rings until they became ghosts of what they once where and into something called a "ringwraith" or a Nazgul.

  • Aragorn win at 2:35

  • The Adûnaic is the language of Numenor ?

  • aw.... poor frodo!

  • Frodo smells like that, teen spirit deodorant.

  • 0:52 Its Him The The Stronger Servant Of The Dark Lord.. Is Witch-King...

  • :'( :'( This is my favourite scene..I cry when I see this..

  • wtff??

    i was in awe

how the fuck woudl you cry

  • Hail Howard Shore!!

  • ring wraiths of mordor true evil and will hunt down the ring at all costs until it is given back to its true dark master! LORD SAURON HIMSELF! wow thats good and i just saw the movie again (5 times or more) so cool

  • in what language is this song.....

Is it on the forbidden language of MORDOR?

  • Mordor? You sure about that bud?

  • Ok... I mean the black speech .....and it is a question...is it?

  • i thought it was elvish the forbden my great great uncle could speak it:) but sadly he pasted away long ago before the movie came out

  • Ha, I wish it were the black speech, saddly its not

  • there is

  • here is the text:

    THE REVELATION OF THE RINGWRAITHS

    Text by Philippa Boyens

    Adûnaic Translation by David Salo

Nêbâbîtham Magânanê We renounce our Maker.

Nêtabdam dâur-ad We cleave to the darkness.

Nêpâm nêd abârat-aglar We take unto ourselves the power and glory.

îdô Nidir nênâkham Behold! We are the Nine,

Bârîn Katharâd The Lords of Unending Life.

  • whats the song called that goes, boooom booom boom du dududu du dududu dududududu weeewoooo weeeewoooo dun dundundun dun dundun dunudn?

  • I think it's the one when they cross the mountain

  • star wars tune

  • @mungojerry I am a big LotR fan and that passage is nothing less than absolutely amazing.

  • @ImperialKiriyama I agree 100%. The books AND the movies are flawless.

  • @mungojerry You are my hero:D

  • Beautiful. I especially love the part of the score where Aragorn is fighting. I loved how you put this video together with the whole song. Thank you!

  • Oh, I loved how you did this. Thanks.

  • What is the name of the song?

  • On the CD, "A Knife in the Dark". The theme itself is called "Revelation of the Ringwraiths"

  • On the Complete Score, it's Disc 2 Track 1 "Weathertop".

  • what song is this?

  • ...?

  • this scene was superb... had the suspence and everything! i give this a 5!

  • god i remember when first seeing this scene, i actually got scared, the music fits perfectly
