octane booster is honestly bad for any bike haha. Its long term effects are too long to explain but i would use that shit anymore if i were you. The only way to reach a good NATURAL octane count is to spend the money on racing fuel.

lol dude i put a whole bottle of octane booster in my 2009 drz125L 4 stroke dirt bike and it out runs a yz85 2 stroke crazy power but i think i put to much cause my dirt will cut off if i put the choke down so i have to keep it up every time i ride now so i think it was a bad idea but my bike goes faster now

@justinchaffin1013 all it does is make the fuel not detonate under compression but rather when ur spark plug sparks, its used in high compression 2 and 4 stroke engines, if you run too low octane in a tuned high comp engine it will pre detonate or ping which means the fuel will ignite under compression not spark, so it will combust befor its actually supposed to

So if you think by putting 93 in your bike that it will make it faster you are actually hurting its power and possibly causing detonate. As for this octane booster I would guess it does nothing. Probly just cleans the carb.

why would you even bother using octane booster. Every good 2 stroke tuner nows that 98 is enough, even for race bikes. You should look for reduced burn time in fuels, or increased energy capacity. Not increased octane number. Those high octane fuels are good for (boosted) 4 strokes.

I wouldn't risk it. 93 octane fuel is enough to get the power out of your bike.

Use V.P. racing fuel (usually found at your local motorcycle shop), or some gas stations sell 110 octane off road fuel(i usually find it at shell stations)...that's what i always use and it's actually better for your bike than premium unleaded gasoline, its more expensive but well worth it :-).... make sure and use a good quality pre-mix also or you will be wasting your time and money.
