"each fighter is completely different"? yea ok buddy. other than arm reach and inside vs outside fighting everyone in the game fights the same and move nothing like their real life counter-parts. you can't even move while you punch, not to mention the unrealistic spamming of the straight right hand. this game is ok i guess but while not perfect fnr3 did a better job of capturing the real thing. who paid you for this review?
I've got to be honest I felt the same way as coolnerd when I first played the game. After the "gee whiz" factor wore off after about 4 days, I agree with you. There are a number of silly little items missing, LIKE punching on the move, that make this game just a slightly prettier version of R3. There is no real personality to each boxer. They had a great opportunity to give us variations in dancing, resting motion, even banter.

your crazy if you think a boxing game is better than a game where you can do all styles of fighting. ufc is real fighting.its not a boxing match where you wear giant mittins and hit each other 1000 times in the face and barely have any knockouts and if you get knocked out you got until 10 to get up. in a real fight if you fall theres gona be a body on top of you getting your ass beat even worse until you really knocked out. ufc is real fighting. boxing is boxing and is not a real fight.
Boxing is a sport, but if you think it's not as good, then please, go try and have a standup street fight with a boxer, then go have a standup street fight with an MMA fighter, the boxer will drop you faster. It will only take a punch or two. Those big ass gloves cause more brain damage than facial damage. Boxers have respect, if they knock you down or out, they won't keep going. Plus MANY of the best MMA fighters strike with their hands, yet against a boxer, they would get dropped in a second.
I played the demo and its horrible. Did you ever play UFC 2009 Undisputed? Its a way better fighting game. The head but thing is stupid and that little dance thing they do.
the demo is nothing like the actual game its much slower than the actual game. I dont even see why people compare UFC with fight night becuase UFC is about MMA and fight night is BOXING.. dumb ass
