My dads house got hit really bad thank goodness he was ok. I was outside picking up debris and there was a flip calendar with quotes and bible verses in it. I flip to April 27 and it said when the mighty storm comes take shelter under our lord.
So many churches have been so awesome to the people of N AL since this disaster. And then there are groups like 4th St. CofC, which has steadfastly refused to acknowledge that anybody needed help. They ought to be ashamed.
Excellent video! I would like to post it on stormHOPE website if that is ok with you. If you're interested in helping us with our video project we'd love to have your help!
At 4:26 in this video it is a picture of the former Piggly Wiggly now called Shop and Save on Highway 53 in Madison County and at 4:35 is a picture of Anderson Hills on the opposite side of the road from Piggly Wiggly. The weird part about this is the clock at Ford's Chapel Church stopped at 4:26, the time it was hit by the tornado and the storm hit the Pig at about 4:35. I was trying to get home from Sparkman High School to check on my children at 4:50 that day. God bless us all.
We've been working side by side, hand in hand, with people from all over the nation in our community. The outpouring of love and support has been tremendous!
