how do you stop the helicopter from turning so much like my friend bought a RC mini helicopter not like that but same company and when he let me tried it it stared turning so i trimed it and it still turns!!!!!!!!!
well its not exactly cheap regarding toys but its unexpensive regarding serious rc Hobby: E sky lama or Blade mCX or Blade CX2 or CX3. Just look them up and get more advise in RC Fourms like " RC Groups". I hope i Could help a bit
If the light goes out, then it is charged. If it is not charged then the batteries in the TX need changed. Even with Alkalines they are really only good for 15-20 charges before they need changed. Try new batts.
hey Dave. just after 4 months of hibernation, i took out my picooz, charged it. ( with new battries) but it wouldnt rise. i tried charging it twice, but in vain. and exactly speaking the heli is only 23 months old. so i dont think that the battery inside it had died. plz help.
I have a picoz helicopter aswell it was my first rc helicopter for anyone out there looking to buy an indoor helicopter for the first time for no more then 20 dollars this is the helicopter for you its light weight and easy to control.
I've got one of these little helicopters and they are great as a first RC Helicopter, its small, lightweight and simple to fly. Once you are more familiar with the controls and stopped endlessly crashing its fine to add some of the aluminium tabs that come with it or just use Blu-Tack, fun to watch it fly across your room!
Pull the old one off carefully and the new one must be Tapped on with a small hammer while you hold the motor. This expands the little prop hub and it goes on the shaft in a forced fit fashion.
Trim to the opposite direction of the spin. Remember left is left nose, not left tail! IF a tiny hair is in the prop on the tail rotor, it won't spin fast enough. If it always spun, take it back. If it was damaged in a crash, you may have burned out the tail motor.
Picoo Z was invented by Alexander Van De Rostyene in Belgium using my ETRM design. He was first and sold his machines to Ikarus who eventually sold licenses to other countries.
hey NICE flying! Um one of my my picoo z's tail motor wires has been disconnected from its lication inside somewhere and is sticking out, proventing the rear rotor from spining. Do you have any knowledge on how to repair it? If so please reply to me. Thanks and happy flying!
You have to Try to cut the tail foam open so you can see the motor terminals and solder the wire back on. The wires are so small, it is difficult to get the insulation off without scraping it with a knife, but it can be done. Good luck.
The clay is better recommended to make it fly forward. Of course without head steering, then it won't stop. I don't recommend the thumbtack because the battery is right in the front in the nose. One puncture could ruin it or cause a fire.
the more weight you take off the longer the flying time. i have three of these and i did an expiriment. i punctured holes into one of them. i stuck the alluminium foil onto another along with a paper clips which i strapped to the nose. and i kept one of them standard. i have to say that the one i put holes into gave out so much more flying time than the other two.
I got one of these for Xmas, as it happens it's the yellow one too. Anyways, I'm a big kid too and have had loads of fun buzzing the cats etc. It's a great little flyer, and would advise any big or little kid getting one.
The Picco Z was the first of these and invented by Alexander Van Rostyne. He Lives in Belgium and designed it (Along with the Piccolo) ofr Ikarus. Airhogs got the rights to copy it. T
the first one i have is called Vespid2, and it's box is exactly like the one you have and its a fake later just this weekend i bought an Airhogs one and i have to say, it has alot more power, easier to land, more stability, better matterial, and better and stronger main rodor all i can say is, dont get the lake ones. they suck alot more then the original one the fake one i have now is broken.
Warning dont buy this copter i did and the first one had problems whit the transmitter 2nd one the tail rotor didnt work. 3rd one did work but only a week
The Apache is heavy so it takes a lot more throttle to keep it in the air. The battery only lastes for 5 minutes or so. I noticed it does not have a lot of forward flight, with or without the stickers. If you get one let me know what you come up with.
You are a great pilot. I love all your videos. Because of you I have purchaced 3 of these. One of them is about 6 months old, the second is a version 2 3 day's old and an Apache. Have you tested an Apache Havoc? I would love to hear your comments.
1 just love your laugh... It so tranquilizant... You seem like a nice person... Good movie, i think i'm going to buy one too and i'll make a response showing my new skills xD...
can fly about 5 minutes continuously, but I like to let my motor cool down, so actually can get about 9 minutes if I fly it only a couple of minutes at a time. IF you know how to fly, this may seem short. IF you don't know how to fly, 1 minute is a long time.

i had one up till about a week ago. i loved flying that thing. i think my cat liked it more. anyways keep it away from long hair. So now im thinking of getting another one or that reflex. BTW great videos. keep them coming.
Yes, turn the switch on on the controller. When charging, the green light comes on, when it goes off, it is charged. 5 minutes later the controller times out and shuts off too, so you can put it on charge and walk away. Hope that is clearer.
It is supposed to be weight for the nose to get it to fly forward. With all 3 pieces, it still did not fly forward very fast, so I just used a piece of modeling clay about size of a pea. Now it flies around in nicely in clockwise circles. Clockwise it better due to directional torque.
Do you have to trim the helicopter every time you charge it and fly it?
Theres something wrong with mines it keeps spinning counterclockwise even when i keep pressing trim. IT was working before when i trim it but ever since it went on the roof of my house it keeps spinning counterclockwise.
Yes you have to trim it each time. That is a bummer. I fly mine up to eye level and hold the button down till it stops spinning. As soon as you shut the heli off, it needs re trimmed. If it keeps spinning, send it back. Several of my friends had the same problem, and took it back. Seems the tail rotor has lost some of its power.
HELP! I've seen your videos, and because i've seen them, i have bought a Air Hogs "Havoc." =) Now im ready for the big stuff! i need your help. I had bought a "Dragonfly" R/C heli; had it in the air and it decided to try in-verted flying (which it cant do) and was shattered to pieces.. =( so after that i decided to try the a"Havoc" which i have masterd now. What is the EASIEST to fly heli? I want something a more then the "Havoc" but not a expert. Can you suggest any helicopter? Thx
Thanks Nightflier! I just got a blue havoc myself these are awesome lil' micro birds. I may get an aero ace bipe eventually also - I've read great things about them in rc forums the same for the picooZ's and Havocs
i had one for about 2 days until it started spinning like a top, so i ripped it apart and then realized it was just a hair in my tail rotor, so i just destroyed it for no reason, if u do like micro flight, u should get the airhogs aero ace, the biplane model and its about as indestructable as a tennis ball.

It is not recommended to discharge LiPo Batteries to cycle them, like nicads or Nimh. Too far of a discharge will ruin the battery.

These things are AWESOME!! I have the Air Hogs model that I paid $30 from Wal-Mart... It's a blast...
For a better forward flight and more stability add some weight to the nose.(I taped a small nail to the front of mine)
These are great little toys to fly around the house on bad weather days... Try it out, you'll love it!!
