  • Hey NightFlyyer, Do you think it would be possible to scrap the parts from this heli and make a micro foamy plane out of it?

  • mine is smaller than that

  • hey can you pm me and tell me how ity works? i lost my introctions

  • have you ever had a havoc cruiser dave

  • I got the Picooz AH-64D Apache for nine euros in France when I was abroad.

I lost the instruction manual but I seems the same as yours so could you pm me the instructions? Thanks.

    -Warcraftbot

  • Nice :)

  • hey Dave i have 1 the plastic model with froward function but it keeps turning to the left even after trimming...............

    pls help!!!!!!!!!11

  • It is a sign that you have to change your batteries

  • hey,

    Dave really nicee flying

i have 1 the plastic model with froward flight function

mine keeps turning to the left even after trimming and everytime i have to fly it i have to trim it.......

    pls advice

  • YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR BATTERIES

  • for accurate rudder control get the one in pakistan for 9003 rs bend prop upwards and rudder wi stars turning like

    IIII

  • how do you stop the helicopter from turning so much like my friend bought a RC mini helicopter not like that but same company and when he let me tried it it stared turning so i trimed it and it still turns!!!!!!!!!

  • whats a good and pretty cheap heli for a beginner, because i have a havoc heli and i want a heli with a little more control or options.

  • salvation 9 maybe...

  • well its not exactly cheap regarding toys but its unexpensive regarding serious rc Hobby: E sky lama or Blade mCX or Blade CX2 or CX3. Just look them up and get more advise in RC Fourms like " RC Groups". I hope i Could help a bit

  • i used to have 2 of em red and blue they were great lost em though :L

  • mine's tail rotor started working bad after a few days, and it always goes a bit to the left even with trimming :(

  • bend the tail to the right or left hope this helps

  • it's not called picco-z it's acually callled the havoc heli

  • picooz is the original by silverlit

havoc is the copy by airhogs

  • I use to have one of these, but i sat on it LOL

  • hi i have buy me the same its a great helicopter for amateurs ist easy to fy i lern it in 3h you can have much von with this pikko helicopter

  • Hi ,

put 2 paperclips on the nose of the helicopter. Then you'll see it's gonna fly awesome :D

    Byee

  • Thanks.

  • Should there be a green light on when charging. If so my dose not do that. Well the green light stays on for a few seconds then goes away.

  • If the light goes out, then it is charged. If it is not charged then the batteries in the TX need changed. Even with Alkalines they are really only good for 15-20 charges before they need changed. Try new batts.

  • hey Dave. just after 4 months of hibernation, i took out my picooz, charged it. ( with new battries) but it wouldnt rise. i tried charging it twice, but in vain. and exactly speaking the heli is only 23 months old. so i dont think that the battery inside it had died. plz help.

  • How long are you suposed to charge the helicoptor?

  • They should take about 20 minutes with new batteries. Alkalines in the TX is only good for about 15 charges before time to replace them.

  • I have a picoz helicopter aswell it was my first rc helicopter for anyone out there looking to buy an indoor helicopter for the first time for no more then 20 dollars this is the helicopter for you its light weight and easy to control.

  • i'm getting one in 2 days it looks like a blast

i got the laser battle for Christmas. it's so fun.

  • I've got one of these little helicopters and they are great as a first RC Helicopter, its small, lightweight and simple to fly. Once you are more familiar with the controls and stopped endlessly crashing its fine to add some of the aluminium tabs that come with it or just use Blu-Tack, fun to watch it fly across your room!

  • how I put spare tall propoller?

  • Pull the old one off carefully and the new one must be Tapped on with a small hammer while you hold the motor. This expands the little prop hub and it goes on the shaft in a forced fit fashion.

  • wow this is a nice heli, but check this out:735 set

  • NICE FORD MONDEO.

  • Thanks.

  • you´re welcome!

  • i have one .. its great and very easy to flight .. i have the picoo z atlas .. with Go foward system

  • i have one and all it does is spin how do i stop it spinning please help

  • Trim to the opposite direction of the spin. Remember left is left nose, not left tail! IF a tiny hair is in the prop on the tail rotor, it won't spin fast enough. If it always spun, take it back. If it was damaged in a crash, you may have burned out the tail motor.

  • are there any stores that sell this?

  • The Picco Z is identical to the Airhogs havocs, which can be bought at any target, or walmart.

  • did airhogs copy picoo-z?

  • Picoo Z was invented by Alexander Van De Rostyene in Belgium using my ETRM design. He was first and sold his machines to Ikarus who eventually sold licenses to other countries.

  • i had 1 of these but i couldnt get the control down..

  • hey NICE flying! Um one of my my picoo z's tail motor wires has been disconnected from its lication inside somewhere and is sticking out, proventing the rear rotor from spining. Do you have any knowledge on how to repair it? If so please reply to me. Thanks and happy flying!

  • You have to Try to cut the tail foam open so you can see the motor terminals and solder the wire back on. The wires are so small, it is difficult to get the insulation off without scraping it with a knife, but it can be done. Good luck.

  • Dude you are funny ^^

Im gonna give another color to mine soon!

  • Thanks kindly.

  • super!! it has been broken the first day!!

  • Bummer.

  • You can put a thumb tack on the front to make it drift forward, or just fishtail it back and fourth.

  • The clay is better recommended to make it fly forward. Of course without head steering, then it won't stop. I don't recommend the thumbtack because the battery is right in the front in the nose. One puncture could ruin it or cause a fire.

  • Also see stratospk's comment below.

  • whoa a fire?

  • Thanks for posting the video, i just got myself one and after the trimming part i can fly around with hardly any problems.

I feel like 10 years old again :D

    Thanks again.

  • Good for you and thanks a lot for the comment.

  • nice car men

  • Thanks.

  • the more weight you take off the longer the flying time. i have three of these and i did an expiriment. i punctured holes into one of them. i stuck the alluminium foil onto another along with a paper clips which i strapped to the nose. and i kept one of them standard. i have to say that the one i put holes into gave out so much more flying time than the other two.

  • I took the entire body off one of mine, and it flies great, but not a tremendous lot of increased flying time could be seen in my case.

  • I got one of these for Xmas, as it happens it's the yellow one too. Anyways, I'm a big kid too and have had loads of fun buzzing the cats etc. It's a great little flyer, and would advise any big or little kid getting one.

  • =) i had one.. but i tried to mod it by sticking some stuff in to get weight right.

i punctured the battery -.- and it wont charge anymore.

  • That is correct. See Greyspartan117's commment and mine above.

  • man your just like a kid lol like the song

  • it needs 6 aa bateries

  • no dont listen to them its the real 1

  • The Picco Z was the first of these and invented by Alexander Van Rostyne. He Lives in Belgium and designed it (Along with the Piccolo) ofr Ikarus. Airhogs got the rights to copy it. T

  • where can u get these??

  • The airhogs Havoc is the same and you can get them almost anywhere..SHopko, Walmart, Kmart ToysRus, Target, etc. They are even cheaper now.

  • the first one i have is called Vespid2, and it's box is exactly like the one you have and its a fake later just this weekend i bought an Airhogs one and i have to say, it has alot more power, easier to land, more stability, better matterial, and better and stronger main rodor all i can say is, dont get the lake ones. they suck alot more then the original one the fake one i have now is broken.

  • Airhogs was first and still the one to buy.

  • yeah... i know... they had a sale in walmart last week weekends.. 10 bucks off!

and i got one and it flys great!

  • Warning dont buy this copter i did and the first one had problems whit the transmitter 2nd one the tail rotor didnt work. 3rd one did work but only a week

  • Sorry to hear that. Make sure to buy an Airhogs. It can be returned.

  • The Apache is heavy so it takes a lot more throttle to keep it in the air. The battery only lastes for 5 minutes or so. I noticed it does not have a lot of forward flight, with or without the stickers. If you get one let me know what you come up with.

  • I put a piece of clay on the nose of mine for forward flight.

Mine do not run more than 5 minutes either. Since I have 4 of these types already, I think I will go for something else, next time.

  • You are a great pilot. I love all your videos. Because of you I have purchaced 3 of these. One of them is about 6 months old, the second is a version 2 3 day's old and an Apache. Have you tested an Apache Havoc? I would love to hear your comments.

  • Thank you very kindly. I hope your having fun with them.

Also, I do not have the Apache Havoc, so you tell me what you think. I would imagine they are close to the same as the others?

  • picoo z rox

  • all those are the same, the picoo z and havoc they just have different names

  • looks like the havoc heli

  • They are the same.

  • 1 just love your laugh... It so tranquilizant... You seem like a nice person... Good movie, i think i'm going to buy one too and i'll make a response showing my new skills xD...

  • Thank you kindly. I will look forward to it.

  • nice! how long are the flights?

  • can fly about 5 minutes continuously, but I like to let my motor cool down, so actually can get about 9 minutes if I fly it only a couple of minutes at a time. IF you know how to fly, this may seem short. IF you don't know how to fly, 1 minute is a long time.

  • oh crap are u serious dont fully discharge the battery

  • orly? If i dont discharge it completely it wont recharge..

  • Flying it wont totally discharge it. When it gets too low to fly it off the ground, stop and recharge it then. All will be fine.

  • in my life i went through 9 broken rc planes until i just got my mini sl today

  • oh, thanks for the tip, mine flys for about 15 mins though :)

  • if you run the battry down until it will not power it anymore, then charge it fully it should last about 15 mins but it is best to do this from new

  • It is not recommended to discharge LiPo Batteries to cycle them, like nicads or Nimh. Too far of a discharge will ruin the battery.

  • i had a blue , yelllow, and red havoc but had to take them all back because of a bent main rotor shaft.

  • Thats too bad. How could they have bent?

  • my sister stepped on it

    my dog stepped on it

it was bent when i came home

  • That is the worst kind of damage....that and slamming the car door on in!

  • I like flying the havoc more than my helix. Guess I enjoy a challenge :P

  • True, very true!

  • i have one. the only way you can go forward is if you fly it sideways. and you can only control up/down spin left/spin right.

  • Not true, just put some clay on the nose and it will fly all around in forward flight.

  • thank you.

  • i got a bootleg one at swapmeet hahahaha

  • how long can u fly it before the battery dies?

  • I can fly about 5 minutes continuously, but I like to let my motor cool down, so actually can get about 9 minutes if I fly it only a couple of minutes at a time. IF you know how to fly, this may seem short. IF you don't know how to fly, 1 minute is a long time.

  • i had one up till about a week ago. i loved flying that thing. i think my cat liked it more. anyways keep it away from long hair. So now im thinking of getting another one or that reflex. BTW great videos. keep them coming.

  • Thank you kindly.

  • Shit, that one was smaller than my helix PRO

  • is that really easy to fly? Because i am about to buy one tommarrow

  • Not as easy as the Reflex, because it must be trimmed each time you fly it. If you do that, it will become easier.

  • this is alot like thge havoc heli

  • Exactly!

  • It's the same from what I can tell. Google suggests it's the same as well. These are great videos.

  • you mean the light turns off?

one more question when you charge it you plug the plug into the helicopter and turn the switch on the controller?

  • Yes, turn the switch on on the controller. When charging, the green light comes on, when it goes off, it is charged. 5 minutes later the controller times out and shuts off too, so you can put it on charge and walk away. Hope that is clearer.

  • OK I see now...

Last question whats the foil that they give to you for?

  • It is supposed to be weight for the nose to get it to fly forward. With all 3 pieces, it still did not fly forward very fast, so I just used a piece of modeling clay about size of a pea. Now it flies around in nicely in clockwise circles. Clockwise it better due to directional torque.

  • Sorry to bug you but this is my last question.

Do you have to trim the helicopter every time you charge it and fly it?

Theres something wrong with mines it keeps spinning counterclockwise even when i keep pressing trim. IT was working before when i trim it but ever since it went on the roof of my house it keeps spinning counterclockwise.

  • Yes you have to trim it each time. That is a bummer. I fly mine up to eye level and hold the button down till it stops spinning. As soon as you shut the heli off, it needs re trimmed. If it keeps spinning, send it back. Several of my friends had the same problem, and took it back. Seems the tail rotor has lost some of its power.

  • Yeah thats true which one do you think is better the havoc heli or the reflex?

  • I have fun with both. Reflex is a little more stable, but doenst fly forward very well. I like to fly forward.

  • reflex do oyu have to trim it?

  • how do you know if it's charged?

  • dude i have a air hog super bee its like the same thing but its blue

  • >.< i cant fly rc helis... lol

  • HELP! I've seen your videos, and because i've seen them, i have bought a Air Hogs "Havoc." =) Now im ready for the big stuff! i need your help. I had bought a "Dragonfly" R/C heli; had it in the air and it decided to try in-verted flying (which it cant do) and was shattered to pieces.. =( so after that i decided to try the a"Havoc" which i have masterd now. What is the EASIEST to fly heli? I want something a more then the "Havoc" but not a expert. Can you suggest any helicopter? Thx

  • Thanks Nightflier! I just got a blue havoc myself these are awesome lil' micro birds. I may get an aero ace bipe eventually also - I've read great things about them in rc forums the same for the picooZ's and Havocs

  • i had one for about 2 days until it started spinning like a top, so i ripped it apart and then realized it was just a hair in my tail rotor, so i just destroyed it for no reason, if u do like micro flight, u should get the airhogs aero ace, the biplane model and its about as indestructable as a tennis ball.

  • is the picco z the same thing as the air hogs havoc heli?

  • Yes... :-)

  • First flight! Thanks for sharing. I remember my first flight with the PiccoZ and when I fly it, I still get that special first flight feeling. So what number of RC toys will this make? Hmmmm 300? Just playing. Get it? Just playing? Now you have to get the Gyrotor.

  • Very cool, I just got the Reflex, I like it, but it takes a long time to recharge, how long does it take to recharge this one?

  • These things are AWESOME!! I have the Air Hogs model that I paid $30 from Wal-Mart... It's a blast...

For a better forward flight and more stability add some weight to the nose.(I taped a small nail to the front of mine)

These are great little toys to fly around the house on bad weather days... Try it out, you'll love it!!

  • i add some lead on picco z nose, more easy get it flying forward.

  • I just added some clay, instead of taping nails, etc. It's much easier to control the weight that way. I like it in forward flight.

  • Thanks man. Ive watched ur other helicopter video. You have helped me choose what to buy. Thanks a bunch!

  • Nice aint it. Ive had a ball with mine so far.

  • You have the coolest toys!!! How high can that fly!?!

  • Pretty Cool Dave. You make it look easy..

  • I've run the life out of two of those already and I still love flying my third one.
