well mostly because Zenyatta is only able to muster 1 good quality race per year, she can't run in or against quality competition in a championship campaign, and the moss's and sheriffs recognize this and treat her as such, a glorified synthetic wonder, i mean look at her dirt race 1:50.71, Rachel's never ever run that slow, and most 2 year olds are able to finish 9 furlongs faster than that.

I'm a big Zenyatta fan, but in a match race where speed is a big factor i'd say Rachael wins. But in a normal size field of horses, that late locomotive charge down the stretch by Zenyatta to much for Rachael to hold off.
I agree with most of the analyst in this video. In a match race Rachael probably wins, but in a normal field with other pace pressure, Zenyatta's closing "coming like a locamotive" kick to much for Rachael to hold off.
