It's for one day, dude. I think we can handle one day with a few less parking spaces. Especially if it means getting a worthy cause (urban parks and land conservation) in front of people who normally wouldn't be thinking about that sort of thing. Nice use of 'douche bags' though. It's really an under-rated slander. Top-notch.
As if parking is not bad enough you got these douche bags making it worse. I understand the need to cut down on car uses when unnecessary and the greater good for the health of the society. I personally choose to not have a car and I am fine with taking an hour and fifteen minutes to get to work every day and same to get back, but then again I grew up in South America where the people were more conscious about health and respecting the land.
I hate the city. Thats why I don't live in one. Stop your nonsense and move to the country.Problem solved.
