No you won't. Your first car will be a Corsa. It will be slow, ugly and uncomfortable. It will cost you a fortune to insure, tax and fuel. Your next car will be purchased 5 years after you have crashed the Corsa. It will be a station wagon. 20 years later you will look back on your wasted youth. You will then have an exhstential crisis and hang yourself :P
Planet earth. It cost a friend of mine £3200 to insure a 1.0L Nissan Micra with 0 years NCB and he was in his 20s. Given that the average cost of insurance for a young adult male is £2800 I'd say any car is expensive, Corsa or not. When you actually have to insure a car you'll realise that :P
@RequiemVortex sorry m8 thats bullshit, dont know where he gets hes quotes from. i own a 306, nothing special, its a 1.6....... 600 fully comp. i'm 29.
@trido1986 ur an idiot. im all for bikes, im not getting a car till im like 30 years old. they have different uses. ide like to go shopping with my family in a car. not on a bike. also, ferraris are high performance racing machines, just because there expensive doesent mean they are for fat midlife crysis bankers, you ask a racing driver and he will tell you ferraris are well balanced fast cars, and it takes equal skills to drive a ferrari well as it does a bike. and this was not a race.
the ferrari was even racing. for that matter the r1 was just doing a wheelie past him also not trying all that hard! just incase you all didnt notice there was alot of cars in front of the ferrari!!! kinda hard to race with no road to do it on...
Depends on the track, a bike can fall behind under braking, so if there's any straights then a sudden corner where you have to brake hard, the bike would fall behind but bikes have the edge when it comes to high speed corners, accelerating and changing direction (depending on the bike)
Also small tracks bikes have advantage, nothing can compare to a supermoto on a small track or a motocross/supermoto offroad, motorbikes are the best vehicles for loads offroad/smalltrack/fun/commute/stunt/etc
I have to disagree about the nothing can compare to a supermoto on a small track part. High HP Go carts will kill a supermoto bike on any kind of road course (small/large). And a F1 car is about 20 seconds a lap faster than a Motogp bike around a track
This month Rossi did a 2'01.068 on his moto GP bike, while last year F1 cars were lapping at 1'36 seconds. It isn't even close. Cars have things like wings and spoilers that use the wind to press them to the road. Bikes don't have any of that.
yeah probs but like stil. So are yous all agreeing that buggati can't even beat that? And even so, this wasn't a proper race, I agree with 'TermDave'.. whatever you say and yeahh who ever gave me that thumbsdown can go suck it... lol.
@ahoplite Yes. The driver of the Ferrari was CLEARLY racing. I would've gunned it if I were driving that car. Right into the back of that Fiat or whatever the hell it was in front of it...

My friend is 20. For young drivers the cost of insuring a car is ridiculous. I pay much less to insure my motorbike despite its high performance.
Also you drive a Peugeot 306 yet you call people who ride bikes gay? LOL WTF :) And how is that any different to a Corsa?

Bike fucking nailed it!
gixergav 2 years ago
It's not a mistery. There have been many tests.. in magazines... tv programs... etc. There are many stats on that.
The bike as a higher acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, but the car eventually catchs up
If we are talking about a race or a few laps in a race course, the speed in the corners for a car is much higher.

Only on the street. Compare a race bike to a race car and that bike gets destroyed, seriously.

simple. from a dead stop, and for probably a quater mile, bike would take it for a bit especially if modded at all.
however, after, the car would leave the bike.
especially if it was a rolling start and not from
stop, then the bike would lose also.
MaliceMizery1 2 years ago
So what u're saying is that if it was a proper race right, the car would win?
cutewog3 2 years ago
from a rolling start yes.
and if from a dead stop, the bike would take
the car for a bit, but the car would ultimately
pass
MaliceMizery1 2 years ago
ohh now you're making sense..
where the hell did the idea of the bikey winning the ferrari come from anyway.. how weird.
cutewog3 2 years ago
Like after a while, not straight off..
cutewog3 2 years ago
if they both started say 30 mph, the car would
own the bike after a short bit.
you gotta remember, this is a 1000cc bike,
roughly 400 some pounds, with an inline
4 cylinder engine. not too much most are modded.
MaliceMizery1 2 years ago
look up anything on bikes at all?

oh i know this wasnt a race.
what im saying tho is if they were to
race. the r1 would win hands down.

a street stock ferrari don't has a chance against a good sportbike with a pro biker... a veyron with a good driver, maybe...

I didn't see the word "versus" it's "and".
SVbloke 5 years ago
You could call it Versus when both bike and car are next to eachother actually racing on a closed off straight line.
