In fact mutations are random and the resulting mutants will hav better capabilites so they live longer and reproduce more and thats how they dominate after a while.Now apply this to a human, then we shld hav seen flying humans by now coz they wld hav had better capabilities in finding food and escaping danger(wild animals...etc)

since when does necessity have to be deliberate?the environmental pressure a species has to cope with define the need to adapt. the frog NEEDS to glide in order to avoid being eaten by the snake or go "splat" on the ground. there are several possibilities to escape danger,flying is just one of them. others are camouflage or defence. humans are far too heavy to fly or glide with bodily grown wings,plus we need our hands more than we'd need wings,so adapting wings would be a disadvantage

when I say heavy I mean the ratio weight/size,not always easy to be precise in 500 characters. The mutations are totally random,yielding beneficial,neutral and disadvantageous mutations. What isn't random is the selection process:environmental pressure weeds out the bad mutations,neutral and beneficial mutations stay,and in times of changing threats (climate,disease,new predator etc.),only the beneficial mutations survive. It's all contained in the terms natural selection...

(continued)...survival of the fittest and punctuated equilibrium. What I described as "need" is not on the level of the mutations,which are totally random,but on the level of the selection. Specimens don't survive and breed by random,but according to how fit they are for their environment (although the variable of chance plays a role too,e.g. even the fittest animal can be unlucky and be squashed by a falling tree). But the point is, that most of them weren't dramatic. Therefore the timespan of some thousand years aren't enough to evolve really graet diferences. The last point is, that the medical care slowed down evolution, because negative mutations are compensed.

The funny thing about vehicles is, that they are in fact created basing on each other, so a evolutionary ladder wouldn't be that wrong as it seems at the first look.

wow, your name includes the word "bat" and you didn't know that animals other than birds could fly, that's kind of sad. not all birds can fly (penguins, emus, kiwis), and many animals other than birds can fly (bats and many many many insects). Basic biological knowledge never hurts ;) Or if you want to know why you misunderstood BIRD as meaning "flying animal", check cognitive linguistics, more specifically prototype theory versus structuralist semantics, it's quite fascinating too
