  • In order to take off the delta ring you need to use a wrench

  • I shot my m15a4 with my firend's lipo (I know it can brake this gun) for like 3 seconds and it was so sick. This is a great gun I highly reccommend it although the orange tip is hard as hell to take off, I havn;t figured out how to do it, so if any one knows how please tell me

  • Nice tutorial! Thanks to you I fixed my gun myself :-)

  • And do you have to take off the stock to be able to take out of like gearbox and stuff?

  • Ok for the hex screw for the butstock do you have a approx size for that cuz the screws i have are literaly too small or too big... and yeah..

  • i think that to remove the delta ring you need to take apart the upper receiver:P

  • what battery is that?

  • Where did you get this small hex key?

  • For all of u who r talkin about the orange flash hider... I did the dumb thing and tried 2 cut it off with a knife, it workd, but took hours and it was rly dirty...

  • arghhhhhh ya ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta

  • Been struggling with this for hours, now I see I forgot to punch out the 2 body pins.. Omg, fail... And I call myself proffesional? Anyway, thanks a lot dude.

  • Hey,

My front iron sight (the closest part to the flash hider) is really wobbly, and often twists whilst out skirmishing...

Is there a way to tighten this as twisting it doesn't seem to work?

    Thanks...

  • You need a buffer tube key to remove the "buffer tube" AEG = stock tube :)

  • what year is the gun because 2010 models pins dotn come out all the way.

  • just so everyone knows. the threads on the orange flash guard are reverse threads. dont try to force them off....so in this case....lefty does not mean loosey

  • How do you put the pin and spring that you took out of the stock back in?

  • Thx, the vid helped me alot!

  • lol! you couldn't use something smaller to pull out the pins???

  • @PMAN46 Idk but I have this gun and I cant get it off at all.

  • Ive got the M16 version of this, and i seriouslt cannot work out how to get the outer barrel off, i saw your comment below about the screw but i dont understant entirely. I cant see a screw of any sort around the slip ring.

  • Thanks for the video i bought a gf15a4 which is exactly the same as your gun only sold by Game Face.

  • i'm very tired only to see...

  • ok so i am having trouble with the motor......that red and black wire have come undone from the motor of the gun idk how butt i need to figure out were in the motor i connect them i have no clue my gun wont shoot because of it please help thank you

  • To take the stock off, all you have to do is pull streight down on the plastic levar on it.

  • is the orange tip glued on?

  • good video dude !

  • hey instead of removing the whole stock spring and everything just pull down the handle instead of pushing it up and slide the stock right off the back and the delta ring on the gun( large gray ring at the bottom of the barrel) is basically a giant screw just use your plastic fore grip and insert it back on like your putting the gun together and turn it left and it will come off and you can access the screw under neath it to remove the barrel off the upper receiver

  • What gearbox version is in this weapon? is it v2 or v1

  • u dont have to remove the rear body pin

  • can i take of the top rail?

    please help me

  • Dude, how small is the hex key for the mag release?

  • @JegVilSeElgenX2

its really small, i didnt even have it on one of my sets because it was so small. i have a set of them with a red holder that the wrenches slide into (has two rows of them) and it has one small enough to do the trick in it (the smallest one of the set)

  • I have went through so much pain, for a so long time to get one small enough, so I can upgrade my gearbox ^^

Now I know what to look for ^^

    Thanks ;D

  • @rugbydude24 there is no screas on my mag release whatsoever i bought the latest version of the CA.. it looks like this gun but my stock is slightly different.

  • @rugbydude24 1mm

  • @rugbydude24 i was wondering if the gearbox in this gun is the same as the ones in the Pro line guns

  • @rugbydude24 actually the different color on ur sets distinguishes them between either metric or american....

  • @JegVilSeElgenX2 its a 1.5

  • @xxxxgerbilxxxx Not on mine its not

  • @JegVilSeElgenX2 hey bro I'm pulling mine apart now it's a 1.27mm hex key in metric

  • dude i get to the part were i have to remove the gearbox but it wont come out what do i do?

  • so you have to make sure that all the pins in the gun are out (the rear body pin and the mag release) because they are attached through the gearbox and will hold it in place.

also, there is a long screw in the back of the gun (inside of the stock tube) which screws into the gearbox, make sure you unscrew this too.

and with that you should be able to get it out

  • just take some black paint at the tip of the weapon and it looks awesome

  • how do u take the external barrel off.

  • youre going to have to slide the slip ring down as far as it will go, then find something that can wrap around and unscrew the large screw beneath it (goes around the barrel...this step is the hard part). after youve got that off, proceed in unscrewing the 3 hex screws on the outer barrel, and wala, youre barrel should come off

  • Hey. How do I upgrade the spring on this gun? are there any bewares when I open it?

    Explain for me :)

  • ima upgrade to a Classic Army M120 spring

  • How do you put in a new tightbore barrel?

  • after you separate the upper and lower receiver (around 2:03 in the vid), you can slide the inner barrel out, remove the hopup mechanism, put it on your new barrel, and slide it back in

  • i found an easier way to remove the stock.

where you push with your thumb to adjust the stock lift it and slide backwards. this means you do not have to undo the stock bolt

  • I've seen about 20 different reviews and this sort of thing now, and im really suprised how all these americans are speaking like the do. its a "uh", and "ah" in every single sentence! why is this? amazing. it gives me the impression that every american boy is dumb. but great video, helped a lot ;) haha

  • wtf dude i needed that part where you take out the handle could you make a vid on that?PLEASE RESPOND!!!!

  • which way does the motor go back in???

    please reply a.s.a.p plz

  • the +side (red) goes in toward the front of the gun and the -side (black) goes in the back

  • umm you know the button u press to release the mag,and how you have to take that thing out of it to take the gearbox out, anyway ive tried it loads of times and carnt find any allen key small enough to fit in. i carnt take it out and im wondering how u did it cus it seemedeasy. how did u take it out. thanks m154 is a awesome gun aswell

  • still cant get my flashider off any help?

  • get a lighter and hold it right under the screw of the flashhider. then slowly rotate the whole gun while maintaining the position of the lighter to somewhat liquidize the glue all around. after that stick something like a knife through two opposite holes and twist anti-clockwise. that should work

  • ... u actually only need to remove the front one to remove the top and the bottom

the pin in the back is to remove the internals

  • would anyone reccomend this gun to me. Does it have good accuracy?, is it of good quality?. Thanks

  • i do yeah pinpoint

  • i have got the none folding stock version it shoots pretty nice but the mag iz crap it breaks up easy the sling that comes with it is so weak that it will break in 30 sec of field time the dust cover pin that hold`s it closed breaks of way to easy but other than that it`s a fun begginners gun

mine doesn`t work any more but i don`t know why i think it has some thing to do with the gear box BTW i`m not english i`m dutch so my English is bad

  • i have the metal body sportline m4. i can't seem 2 get the pin near the trigger out

  • yo how do you change the spring?????????

  • I'd leave this stuff to prpffesionals. It's east to loose prices, and I've spent alot of money accedentally losing parts

  • take the mechbox apart, take the spring out and then put the new one in....

  • my motto airsoft forever and bike forever

  • so with just taking out the 2 body pins how long is the front part of the gun by itself in half?

  • would this m15a4 sportline be able to handle a systema m150 spring? without breaking or damaging any parts inside gear box? thanx

  • rotflmao no stock gun besides a systema woulb be able to do that stock...

  • Sorry for the late response, it will last only a little while till eventually you will need new gears. I'd strongly reccomend a strong piston most of all, than strong gears second.

  • nice video, im probably buying this gun in a while, but i do wonder: WHY THE F IS THE FLASH HIDER GLUED ON X__X

And once you get that bugger off, you can put a 14 MM silencer on it, right?

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry for the late response, yes you can put other sileners on It I don't know the exact measurement call airsoft eztreme and ask em

  • kk when u said hex screw i dont no if thats what they call it i asume ur american because of the orange tip but is that a alen key in other words?

  • correct

  • its an alen key or hex screw because its in the shape of a hexagon

  • hey i have the same gun lol now i cant tell is the 14mm screw counter or clock?

  • Comment removed

  • 14mm counter-clockwise

  • Will this gun take a normal 14mm silencer?

  • yup, its actually shows you in this video

  • is there any way I can take off the front sight?

  • The spring you were talknig about was i think the Charging handle

  • ok, so for the flash-hider, you get a lighter and hold it round the base of the flash-hider for somewhere around 30 seconds. then get a knife, stick, etc.; put it through the holes and and twist it off clockwise. Make sure you're pushing against the thick bit, otherwise it will bend or brake.

for the indents i just took white paint, and covered the area where the grooves were. then i got a baby wipe and wiped off the excess around it. you might have to do it several times for it to work right.

  • what upgrades would you recomend and what mm are the metal bushings 6mm or 7mm

  • when you take the stock off. instead of pressing on the button thing to slide to stock...you need to pull it all the way down and you can slide the whole stock off without the unscrewing and stuff

  • Good review!

I want to get the metal sportline

  • the metal body is a very good gun...i highly recommend it..i got mine about a month ago and right out of the box it was hitting 360..so its really worth it for $190 at airsoft extreme...

  • i agree, i'm not sure why i didn't have the battery out especially since it drains charge when it's in. oh well, thanks for pointing that out

  • how do u take off the flashhider i dont understand how u take it off and how do you paint the logos

  • You should taken the battery and the mag before you started

  • two more things;

    1) you can also get the stock off by pulling down hard on the stock release and sliding off

    2) the stock stick can be taken off too, but you have to pull and wiggle it loose for about five minutes straight.

i still havent figured out how to get the rails off, but was thinking that you have to take the charging handle off by detaching the spring holding it on and there would be a screw on the underside holding it on.

  • no, if you do option 1 you will damage it, try pulling the stock release away from the stock, then you can pull out the stock.

  • haha, sorry

  • its carbine not carbon.
