Best new jerseys of any team in the NHL, IMO. There will always be people who don't like something just because it's new and different from what they got used to.

BTW, I liked the ones they had since 1996 also, but these are sweet as hell.

I disagree with the other comments ... i think that the old uniforms with the eagles and the capitol dome were pretty awful ... these have an edge that combines the old school classics 70s caps logo with the great new eagle logo which is really schnazzy

I like the sweaters, but the logo is terrible. I understand it was the logo for like 20 years, but it sucked then too. At least they didn't bring back the white girdles.

The only thing I don't like about them is the vertical stripe on the sleeve. They should be horizontal, just like the stripe on the socks. Continuity, people!

I'm sorry you've only been watching the NHL since 1996. The Caps were read from their inception until then. Regardless, I went to that unveiling, and those new uniforms look class and sharp, and take the Caps back to their roots of red white and blue, add a nice shoulder patch, and modernize the old logo. It's made for caps fans. If you don't like it, and you're not a caps fan, don't buy it. Don't support our team. Regardless, I love em. They look fantastic.

we had to fight to get to where we are now, at thanksgiving, we were last in the division, and 2nd to last in the conference, and now, we're here, tied for the division lead. your redwings dont know what it means to fight for playoff position.
