He is blessed with his voice tone which sounds good, but he can't sing high notes very well, like Higher Ground, which its live version, at least the most of then, he got out of tune. He is a hell of a rapper though, which gives him a good breathing ability.

One who can be tagged as a good singer there is Frusciante. HE is a good singer!

Do not get it wrong. I'm a huge fan RHCP too! =P

@HaykenBR I also love Johns voice its very unique, and AK may not be able to sing high notes like JF, but hes not a opera singer, hes a rock star, i really dont care if he cant take the high notes, if we ignore the long californication tour when he had a sour throat, he has been good on many other tours and live performances like Slane castle, hyde park and live earth. Higher ground is an old school rhcp song, AK voice has really changed throughout the years and is now becoming very good.
