If you ever played Fist Full Of Boom Stick, you would know Ash gains the ability to do spells. One of my favorites, is Possession. He just borrows a body for awhiel, then when he's done, POP. I'd like to see Jason get up from that. Las time i checked, even a crazy son of bitch like Jason needs a body to live.

Jason is alive, and anything alive can most certainly be put down with a few pulls of the trigger. Or, in another sense: Jason is just a narrative manifestation of male sexual insecurities, whereas Ash is a manifestation of male sexual fantasy. Ash gets laid, Jason doesn't. The two are a good diametrical match because, just as Jason comes back every-time he gets killed in the movies, Ash never actually dies in the first place.
Therefor, every-time Jason attempts to kill Ash, the story is the same: Jason gets killed, Ash wins.
