(1) His lizard potion dropped to the ground, shaking midway, plus having electrical current in it and in the injecting device, which means it was tampered. (2) Plus, in modern day society, scientists doesn't even use themselves as guinea pigs, they have rats for that matter. I do get the moral in the story, however, the way it was presented was off track.

@GAF1987 Not entirely. Who knows how long Conners was shooting himself up with mutated lizard DNA. If this was his first time, then Electro would be fairly responsible. But with Dr. Conner's obsession with regrowing his arm, it could've been a matter of time before one of his non-electrified shots worked, then led to him turning into Dangerous Pet of the Year. And if he was clean, this could've worked without the scaly side-effects.

i made a comment on the last spisode, and i'll do it again, on the problem of conservation of energy and mass in superhero franchises; why do writers never take such a basic law into consideration? i mean it's just sooooo basic; an arm doesn't grow that fast; where do the atoms necessary to grow it come from? FROM FOOD! that's why it takes time to grow back an arm even if you are a mutant; and it doesnt turn into tentacles, that's just plain unrealistic

I like how they use a smaller cast instead of having big cast like with crossovers. For instance most of the people seen will be seen again like the villains: Tombsone, Sandman, Venom, Hammerhead, Silver Sable, and all those. They also have that same little asian(i think, sorry if i sound racist) girl who always meets the villains. First she met Electro then Sandman and had other appearances. Continuity's great here. Go Spectacular Spiderman!!
