@YeuLaKho Glad it helped and thanks for the note... post up a picture of your rig on our facebook page and show off your work :-) facebook (dot) com/lastgreatroadtrip
@ivanhvg it all depends on where you drive... drive dusty tails and you get less miles out of the filter than highway driving. When we drove the Baja we changed the filter after about 750 miles it was so clogged. On the 15k maintenance schedule Toyota recommends a change.
@lastgreatroadtrip Thanks!! Awesome videos! I did the Oil change thanks to your videos, I will do this weekend the diff/TC oil changes, and hopefully the spark plugs!
we have an interview with one of the Toyota engineers talking about the supercharger. Take a look at it. But you need to know that lots more horsepower on the trail tends to lead to broken parts as slipping wheels grab traction and all that force runs back up the drive train. But lots of guys wheel with them and don't have any problems.
Awesome videos. I have a 2007 FJ. Any tips other than air filters to improve MPG's.
Any tips on keeping my windshield from getting cracked from highway driving. I have a bug deflector, but it really does not seem to do a damn thing, lol. Thanks again.
Glad you like the videos. Gas mileage is tough to improve and only gets worse if you add big tires, heavy bumpers and a lift. The FJC has all the aerodynamics and MPG of a brick driving down the road. As for windshields, we're still looking for anything to help. We have found that if you fix the chips quickly they don't spread and are not noticeable. Our current windshield (#2) has had more than 10 chips repaired and no cracks. We put on monster highway miles driving to our adventures.
just did my 2 air filters, pretty easy on the FJ Cruiser. good video.

Would anyone know if the toyota original filter lasts between 15.000 and 30.000 miles? This is what I was told by some people.
