@pavmx703 wrestling rings are made from wood...its basically layered...you have support beams round the outside, with 4 or 5 layers of wood...i think its oak but i could be wrong then a small foam layer about 2 inches thick on top then the ring mat. There is also a mic underneath the ring to enhance the sound of impact on the mat

@pavmx703 exactly im a pro (in training) and in the center of the ring, where you will notice everything happens there, theres a lil piece of metal and its like a bubble that pops on the wood and makes all the noise

@pavmx703 no its not just wood, its made of metal with wood beams across the bottom to keep it in shape its more of a mat like deal and it actually hurts alot. people have to practice just falling on it to get use to it. i have to till i lose my breath to get use to it

@CMakaveli91 its a ring not a steel floor, i doubt it hurts jericho that much plus jericho grabs rey's head towards his knee's while hitting the mat, causing rey to absorb most of the impact. if it would of hurt jericho more he wouldn't even be using the codebreaker. you're theory is nice but it makes no sense.

That same impact would be transfered through his body, to the knee, and into Mysterios face. It would be the same if Mysterio had held a pole to his face, jumped off of something and rammed the pole into the ground. That kinetic energy would be transferred between the objects. try taking a baseball bat to a tree as hard as you can. Same principle.
