  • l'avessi avuta io quella strumentazione...

  • @baroneorsa Come ti capisco ç___ç

  • did you get this keyboard for free for saying all that stuff? the price is way to much. it's efficient, that's all.

  • so let me get this straight I can load lets say East west symphonic choirs in this thing and it will be able to handle it?

  • LovN the work your doing.. Need any help ( =

    Hit me up..

  • The screen is Dead? How did that happen? DO they just fail that easily?? I guess its alright because of the VGA output but thats no exception. I really wanna know before I break the Bank for this. Is the screen that unreliable?

  • he was referring to the screen on his laptop not the neko

  • I'm an East West QL fan myself...

  • same here. cant wait for Hollywood Strings in Jan =D

  • Which software is good for young film composers? And what can i actually do with my MIDI keyboard? a Casio CTK-631?

  • steinberg cubase and halion strings and a lot of self sampling.

  • Yeah, I would reccommend Cubase. It's an amazing tool, excellent for any kind of music.

I have the Casio CTK-631 too. It's a toy. If you take your music seriously and can afford it, buy another keyboard. I have a Yamaha which is great (nothing to compare with Casio!), but Kurzweil or Roland are also good for film stuff.

  • where are the times, when just needed a sheet of paper and a pencil...

  • Is there any way to get these kind of authentic sounds WITHOUT paying like $5,000?? I'm brand new to the film composing world.

  • play it yourself :D

  • There are a lot of composers who compose with Logic Studio. Cost $500. Mac software. More and more aren't even using real orchestras anymore because the sampled instruments in Logic are so realistic.

  • Logic studio might be what youre looking for.

  • I love your nick

  • I think this sound bank is really good for any filmcomposer if the budget of the movie is not that big, but still want to make the score sound good. But actually I'm more interested in making movie score with a real orchestra.

  • i'm starting to study composition...if i ever will be a film composer i fell like i am going to write music in normal way not by this technologies, i think it's also more funny...

  • That's nice man. Composing indeed seems cool. After all, music is one of the most important parts of a movie. Good luck with it.

  • true, coz without it, the movie would be empty and have no emotion

  • I use to think the same, but think about how much time it take to write a HOLE ORCHESTRA SCORE, and how much u take to record incredible stuff whit virtual technology whitout spending so much time writing and having all in your head... Sorry man, but Mozart would loved this shit we have nowadays. Sorry bout my inglish : )

  • pitch89 , how will you demo your music to directors if you only write it down?

  • Good one....i like you stuff. You're good....and i like we share the same way of working sound....well alost. Ha ha...

  • Very interesting!

  • makes you wonder how they managed with manuscript paper in the past...eh...

  • Ahaha

  • hey thats great, check out my tracks i had composed!!

  • I knew there's Something Higher. Please, bless me too?!

  • There is a God!!! Oh, please bless me too?!

  • Impressive. All I have is Cakewalk.

  • Looks good, let me guess, are the sounds there going in "How to be a serial killer"?

  • Miko is smaller neko is full sized

  • thats one big ass screen =-|

  • @toohotrecords lol a big screen wont make your music better unfortunately.

  • we have the same exact name...i dunno middle, fucking huge screen

  • I WANT ONE!!!

  • this dudes studio is beast is that a tv he is using for his computer monitor!

  • seems nice.., what films/series and such have you scored? =)

  • I WANT IT!!!

  • ohhh my goodness

  • Open labs, can I hook a miko or neko up to my Mac and whats the difference between the two Neko and Meko.

  • is the neko and miko only full of vst sounds because i heard hardware sounds much better

  • the neki/miko are just PC's in a special box, and a special OS, under windows.

  • It is true the unit has a PC engine, but so what? when something works why be a hater?

  • does hardware sound better?? hmmm well if you think about it. those work station keyboards are run off of software. So the answer for the simple people. no!
