I never had any problems w/it besides it turning off at random times. & battery life/: but other than that, its awesome:D! Like, i broke off the bottom buttons, some of the screen, got it wet a lottt, dropped it a milliontimes, and it still works! :Di'd recommend it c:

I've had this phone for like 2 years now, i bought the insurance which is an extra i think $10 a month, and it's worked perfectly fine, even when i've gotten water on it and i have no case or anything on it. It has slowed down but that is expected, especially since i have thousands of pics and hundreds of little videos i took, i love the storage, i had the env before this, and it held like 200 photos before needing to delete stuff, it's not a smart phone, and i'm fine with that.

Though it has...MAJOR PROBLEMS...the phone doesn't suck, i've had mine since it came out, and yes i've gone through several phones as well. But i love this phone, it's simple, a nice browser, good touch screen (in my personal opinion)...and though it may lag and cause you to get all confused...it had the capability to become an amazing phone. Oh well...Upgrading to Droid X...lol
I had this. I hated it so much I got it replaced. OK, so it would be on, and then the power on screen would appear. The battery life is shorter than Justin Bieber's dick, and I would have to slam it on a desk to turn it on sometimes. The LG enV Touch is WAY better.
I praise this phone for its durability, but it's really quite boring. My Dare's microphone and speaker malfunctioned when the software did, so I could only text. It's not the worst, but there are better phones that you can get for roughly the same price range.
one thing i bet a lot of poeple dont know is you can open your shortcut menu and drag the icons onto the background image, and then they will stay there and u no longer need to hit the shrotcut button.

This phone was great, until my warranty ran out. Then all of a sudden, my touch screen stopped working completely. I couldn't even answer a call. And of course verizon couldn't help me! I am getting the Droid 2

It's definitely not an iPhone but I have had it for almost a year and it hasn't broken once, infact it even works in the water (I wouldn't test it again) and is really durable. The only big problems I have are the responses are slow when the memory gets bogged down and texting is horrible, it always hits the wrong keys. Otherwise definitely worth a little over a bill.

This phone is great and all for video I can record up to a whole hour of a video without any problem and the picture quality is good when in light and it automatically photoshops the picture for you( thats what it looks like to me) and I beleive txting is free( I dont pay the bill so I don't know) but other than that its a pretty boring phone :/ Unless you have like a ton of money to pay additional costs for the perks and buy games its pretty bland...but good to show off to people wit metros lol

In the past two years i've had it, the verizon people know me by name because i've gotten it replace so many times.
The one time i went, they went through four replacement phones and theygave up and gave me a new one. Which that one is shit now too.

when u open a program like that, it will ask u if u want to subscribe or not, if u do, u will start paying for it. if not then there isnt an additional fee.

@desirider786 No you don't need a data plan with this phone. I think it's only the newer PDA smartphones that require data pkgs. I've been considering this phone because of that.

. and u can use just about any old verzion or alltell phone with them just not hi end smart phoneslike black berry htc etc you get the point and they use verzion towers to u never drop a call check them out

lol i got this phone to use on my prepay from verzion nope could not use it? i was like what the fuck why> they told me its a tuchscreen and we dont suport that on our prepay net work i was pissd.. but then i found out i could with pageplus and its even more cheap then verzion 40$ talk and tex all you want a month

If you text alot you'll probably be frusterated with the touch screen, if i were you ide get the voyager for the "actual" buttons. Ive had the dare for 9 months now and i'm very unsatisfied with it... Im going to get the Nokia e71.

This is a good phone ive had since it came out which makes it about two years now. It never broke except once the back fell of when i was trying to show my friend how strong the phone was... :p

Go on to camera mode. Then hold down the capture button until it changes modes from picture to video... :)

i got this phone last june and i loved it at first and now everytime i go to the keyboard and type (i text way too much) it always shows up as the wrong letter even when i press it and the letter like pops up above ur finger when you hit the key and now i have to use the other key board butt other than that it is an pretty good phone
