  • Clara cannot stay on her box during turns!! i've seen her fall out of her box multiple times in this version. Very disappointing.

  • some distortion after about 8 and a half minutes

  • @sanemind143 they're just trembling! ROFL

  • @sanemind143 but this lets the dancers appear more like being in a musical box! ;)

  • Anyone knows the song's name for when Alexandra the sugar plum fairy came in?

  • There's no word to describe this. Perfect is not enough.

  • @MickTueKeith I watch this ballet on youtube almost every single day because I love it so much!

  • Did she step on his foot at 3:48 ?

  • This is the flower's dance.So beautifull.So amazing.I CAN'T STOP LITENING !

  • hey ..does anybody knows the name of that music ?????

  • @cathcanta It's Waltz of the flowers by Tchaikovsky. (:

  • @cathcanta It's the Adagio of the Grand Pas de Deux from "The Nutcracker". Before that you heard the "Waltz of the Flowers".

  • beatifull...

  • she hopped in her pirouette.

  • soo soo beautiful *-*

  • wat happened 2 mother gigone??

  • Well jp2uao I think this is smashing, though it is very sad that this excerpt jumps about so much for the last couple of minutes. For all that I still must say that this is a beautiful version of Nutcracker, much preferred to the Yoshida version.Just why it is impossible to buy this version here in the UK I cannot understand.

    Many thanks for posting.

@Paradiselost89 I have to agree with you,a great shame and a loss to ballet as a whole.Sadly it leaves me without a single DVD of her dancing.

  • @r0g3r5m1th I don't understand why there's a version of this production on the internet, but the version avalable on DVD is with Yoshida. Where did the version with Anasanelli come from if it's not on DVD?

  • @al1936ful =great question, but sadly I don't know the answer. But I suppose a good guess may be that it was recorded for television in the States,so once again we miss out on a Royal Ballet performance, fingers crossed though it may be available on DVD at some later date.

  • @r0g3r5m1th This version hasn't been shown in the U.S. The one with Loots, Cervera, and Yoshida was shown in the U.S. for the first time last December.

  • @al1936ful ,I can't help you then, maybe your best bet would be to try and contact @ jp2uao who I'm sure would be happy to tell you.

As @Paradiselost89 said it is a great shame,I also do not have anything danced by Ansanelli and sadly it seems likely that I never will..

  • 6:06, pause it!! the prince is like HEYYYY

  • The end of this section looks like a SMASHING PUMPKINS video!

  • COOL COOL COOL!

  • COOL!!!!

  • Why is the picture so shaky near the end? Is it the fault of the original video or did whoever posted it have a defective recorder?

  • cómo se llama laúltima melodía?

  • Where is the other version?o.O

The version with the Korean (or Chinese, or Japanese, I don't know..) lady as Sugarplumfairy was my all-time favorite! Does anyone know from which year that one was? I miss that version...

  • @Bellzs Oh, you mean the one with Alina Cojocaru as Clara and Miyako Yoshida as the Sugarplum Fairy? That's one of my favourite versions. The link to the DVD on Amazon is /Nutcracker-Cojocaru-Dowell-Royal-Ballet/dp/B00005S6KS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1275281093&sr=1-2

  • @AriaInTheSky O my, you just made my day! I really can't get enough from that version, but I didn't know it was for sale. Thank you very very much!

  • @Bellzs Glad I could help! It's one of my favourite versions, and Alina is my favourite dancer. I just love to share it with the world! =D
