I hate everything boston/NE and I think Jack Edwards is one of the biggest homer douchebag commentators in all of sports, but I have to defend him here. It was Patriot Day in boston and Edwards simply just made a historical reference because of the fact that it was Patriot day and because a Canadian team was playing a team from boston. I don't think Edwards was trying to compare the war battle directly to a hockey game. He was just simply stating a historical fact to dress up the win.
