Im running a 2006 Predator with full Yoshimura exhaust,Procom cdi, and No Toil intake. Stock Predator is around 45 horsepower. Stock Banshee is 37 hp. I love and ride 2 stroke dirt bikes,But it only makes sense that a Predator should be able to beat a Banshee in any type of race.

i have a 07 pred, 07 raptor, 04 ltz, my fav is predator, we ride mostly dunes and i run razrs on pred, paddles on raptor. all great, newer riders love the ltz, its light and fast enough to hang and get you anywhere, would not hesitate to take any of them, predator just feels more stable, who knows...

i got a 2001 400ex 440 kit 12:1 comp. White bros STG 2 cam kibblewhilte valves,port polished.edelbrock carb K/n i run 42hp and topped it out at 84mph with 20 in razrs on the rear 38rear 14 front sprocket..i eat up many raptors,predators,banshees,hah­a a 400ex i laugh...but the fast quads now a days are like 700R and you cant forget about the DS650...ron woods kid 90mph +

i run 14/38 on my predator and unless your 400ex revs past 9100RPM it will not do 84. i'm running the exact same gear setup and it does not do 84mph. the 5th gear in predators tranny is like a .9 ratio which is taller than most performance quads.

that's alot of money to get a 400ex to perform what a stock 03 predator did...not saying it doesn't haul but it seems kinda steep for something i paid $5200 out the door stock.

never had it clocked or dynoed. a stock 700 raptor hits 73-75 according to dirtwheels and others. my 07 pred pulls away slowly on top end agaisnt my cousins HMF piped 07 GYTR raptor. You can say anywhere from 75-78 with just an HMF ironman, jetting, and K&N filter agaisnt stock CDI. It went just as fast top end before that, just gets there quicker now...Alot quicker. Raptors are good to build on with their low compression, poor cams, and the fuel injection. for the CC's stock, they are dogs

if i were u i would bore dat predator to 560 cc's.yes,they have it for da predator 500 rather je pistons or wiseco.and it costs less than $300.ur average looney tuned dual pipe is $840 & u only gain 6.5 peak horse power.hope this advice helps u.

i own a 05 pred tld from past experience the yfz is probably the only quad that can beat it in the dirt (including the banshee, raptor, bombardier, and what ever else you want to throw at it) but the pred also has reverse, push button start, and really smooth suspension. yfz is just bare knuckle, i guess its whatever your into.
