Good video. I am thinking of buying a motor like this. Only problem is one of my gears broke in my tranny, so i replaced it with the same gear from a savage flux. So this motor would probably break the other plastic gears.

Tranny has held up fine biggest issue people have is letting it go airborn and landing with the throttle still pinned

i got a 12T 550 in it now and still no problems with my tranny

u say u run a 12t now? is the esc stock?

No its a XL-5 Traxxas ESC

Stock will only handle down to 20T

Might be able to go 19T if its 2wd

oh ok i was wondering cuz i knew the stock one only went down to 20 how fast would u say it is with the traxxas esc and is it the traxxas motor too? cuz i have a pede might buy one of these and take everything out of it and put it in one of these is that what u did?

I got a XL-5 with a Titan 55012 turn now in mine and it hauls ass @ 8.4v

I never ran the 21T at 8.4v

@CMCKAYVSTMCKAY i will try. it is being fixed cuz i cant.i broke both wrists and my arm and i have a cast that goes above my elbow. my truck hauls too now cuz i got the 8.4v.

Looks like a 21T is a good top speed motor for this truck. Any faster, and it'd be out of control all the time. Good bash video.

no. thats way to embarrasing. i did the rubber band mode and it works out great. thats how i got the night video. thanks for the tip CM

I rubber band a platform (peice of wood) to the Transmiter than Rubber band the Camera to the Platform

Yeah MUCH better now still going to hold off doing more to it until I get more funds but its wild enough now this was a battery pack from the weekend (1/2 dead already)  I just could not wait to charge a pack after dropping the motor in

I know funds are tight, but next mod should be a lipo. my integy 5000mAh 2cell charges in 30 min, and I get 35 to 40 min of full power. lipos dont dwindle down like the stock one does.

Lipo packs are not cheap around here as its usually a LHS thing and their is only 2 LHS's in town (both want arm & leg) for Lipo's are way cheaper on line. Any sites you recomend? Where do you get steel tranny gears for the WK from?

bad news the steel tranny gears are discontinued. CKRC has aluminium gears, but I already trashed a set of those. I had to mail my tranny to Denmark for a custom steel tranny and slipper clutch.I get it back in a week or so. cost me around $200
