Awesome vid man i like when people actually give the V2 credit that it deserves. Ive played many amps and this has to be by far one of my favs. Ived play it several times and people compliment on my tone all the time. You can look up my band Shadowed Grave on youtube.
My playing style is pretty much versatile. I like playing classical, blues to Technical Death metal.... now I am trying to find out good review where some some is really playing to its capacity and see how much it can take...
When I use my iPhone to record my vids, I place it close to the amp but not directly in front of the cab cuz it will just distort the little mic. Off to the side u use the acoustics to ur advantage and it makes it useable. However, the tone could sound different in person standing directly in front of it. My vids actually sound pretty damn close to what it sounds like in person, check them out!!!
Hey, nice review, I am having a hell of a time finding videos too, because digital cameras are not setup to pull the low end through the pin sized mic. And, like you said, people do not know where to put the mic, they want to sit between the amp and the mic, or to set the mic out of the sound path.
I am interested in this head, how sturdy is it. I ask because Randalls are not notorious for their durability.
Also, I have a 2x12, 140W, but would not push the amp. But would not push it inside.

@FirePower3006 Well I'm not a fan of fake music that isn't anything but something to keep labels going either. All I was saying was that, that was the only thing I heard when I searched the videos... I love music that is written for the sake of music, not written because the band that wrote it, wants to be rockstars. I'm with you there.

The black channel footswitch comes with the head. It's just a footswitch to toggle the channels, graphic EQ, and FX loop. The other white pedal is my DD-7 Delay, it obviously doesn't come with the head haha.
