King was a nice guy, by all accounts. His religion has, as far as I know, never hurt anyone. That does not change the fact that his claims are scientifically impossible. Jesus may well live on Venus, but if he does he's picked a pretty inhospitable place to do so....perpetual sulphuric acid rain, atmospheric pressure higher than the bottom of the deepest ocean, toxic air, and no life of any kind whatsoever. Why would he dwell there? What good is he doing? Why not just come back to EARTH?!
