@Blackwido88 If I may suggest an awesome game, why not buy GRAW 2 for the PS3, it's a helluva lot better, and it's a lot like Socom. You can switch to first-person in the menu, and has a good Multiplayer and Story mode. ^_^

Actually in Socom 3 the fastest way to explode say the cargo trucks was to shoot them in the grill. It'd be way too easy if all the vehicles took just 1 shot to the gas tank to explode.

I mean could you imagine Socom or any other game implenting a system where if you died you could no longer play for an entire game instead of just having to wait til the next round?

You liked the first person view from previous games where as I don't miss it because I never really used it.

Its the framerate loss that simulates lag. You'll notice that the speed of the game slows down noticeably when you encounter enemies, especially on large maps.

I've been playing a bit of Uncharted, but mostly Battlefield Bad Company 2. They both seem to be o.k. to play, but they're definately not the hot ticket that I was hoping for. I'd still recommend them to people though.

Actually that's not true about past Socoms and where you had to shoot a car/truck to blow it up. In 3/CA you could shoot anywhere and after enough hits it would blow up. Also if you hate the game so much stop playing it otherwise adapt.
Glad you liked the vids, but I will support the game when the devs support our request for a fully functioning Socom that is built as advertised. They said that they were gonna go back to the roots and they fell way short...Not to mention the game is still in a sort of beta stage...Thats unacceptable in my book and I will continue to bash it until somebody builds it right. Great video. I was always a huge SOCOM fan. Had all the PS2 games but wasn't able to play online before. Now on my PSP I have FTB1&2 which back then were still by Zipper and those are great games. I play those online. But when Slant 6 made SOCOM TS, the online was also full of shit and I realized that something was wrong. I always wondered if they did SOCOM any justice on PS3 and now I know that it's not worth buying from arrogant ass director's like Seth and his crew. I was hoping it'd be fixed
I kind of like TS's single player campaign and how it plays but the online is fucking terrible. Yes, FTB2 has a bunch of asshole hackers too. I don't think I'm getting FTB3 because it's by the same assholes that made this. Wtf man, seriously, regenerating energy??? It's not fucking Gaylo. If anything, it makes the game more challenging. Its shit and you can't fix it at this point, only way is to start fresh again and make a new socom. Zipper may be better off with it however.

How many map packs have already been released for games that have come out after SOCOM? Resistance 2, World at War, Killzone 2... All this DLC we're gonna get with the patch is pointless. Cry about Combined Assualt DLC.. because you cant even jump the middle building in that version..

Yo turban, your right bro, the exploding car is stupid. But the fact is that in real life, cars dont explode when you shoot them at all. I know from personal experience, I shot up a car with gas in the tank and all it did was catch on fire but it diddnt explode. all the other exploding cans and trucks must go! thanx and keep it up.

have you not been listening to me? i have played hours of scrims, and i have NEVER SEEN ANYONE CHEAT that includes shooting through walls, it's pretty ridiculously easy to tell if someone is shooting through a wall, you can tell on socom even, let alone css, maybe you didn't know you could shoot through doors or something? but there are admins all over css scrims, and they wouldn't last long pulling as easily detectable cheat as straight up shooting you through walls...come on man jeez

Great video. I was always a huge SOCOM fan. Had all the PS2 games but wasn't able to play online before. Now on my PSP I have FTB1&2 which back then were still by Zipper and those are great games. I play those online. But when Slant 6 made SOCOM TS, the online was also full of shit and I realized that something was wrong. I always wondered if they did SOCOM any justice on PS3 and now I know that it's not worth buying from arrogant ass director's like Seth and his crew. I was hoping it'd be fixed

I kind of like TS's single player campaign and how it plays but the online is fucking terrible. Yes, FTB2 has a bunch of asshole hackers too. I don't think I'm getting FTB3 because it's by the same assholes that made this. Wtf man, seriously, regenerating energy??? It's not fucking Gaylo. If anything, it makes the game more challenging. I'm saving my money and not buying that one. I think I'll buy the new Star Wars Battlefront coming out soon on the PSP.

I cant agree more turban about the created maps disappearing!! i made one that was pretty elaborate and took some time to make and created it and nobody joined for like 45 mins. so i jumped to another channel to try it out there, went to load it and it loaded a map that somebody else made that i recently played that night and!! i had nothing to do with that map except coming in late and playing it!!

Lolz ya. I'm not a fanboy trying to say this game hasn't got problems, I've watched a ton of your videos (which btw are hilarious, kudos and keep em coming i've definitely subbed!) and the game def does has issues. Hopefully this 1.5 patch tomorrow will fix some of this shit without creating another dozen bullshit problems. Yeah I'll be honest though I haven't really seen any propane whoring yet lol and I played this game back in Oct for a while and now am again at it. Great vids tho! lol

Maybe it's racism. The middle east is supposed to have oil, but this going too far. It also fucks up my game having to run around a bunch of shit like a paintball course. There used to be an open area right in the middle where you'd get a lot of gun battles in the old Desert Glory. You'd have fuckers running in from all the sides taking each other down. Now we're all ducking behind boxes, debris, cars... OH SHIT I got blown up.

He's right confrontation sucks dick,it's not a real socom at all. So many minor changes that made socom special are missing and the game is a beta basically still. Its shit and you can't fix it at this point, only way is to start fresh again and make a new socom. Zipper may be better off with it however.

I'm so glad a buddy of mine bought me this game. I wish I could get more than $10 for this game on eBay- I would have sold it. How many map packs have already been released for games that have come out after SOCOM? Resistance 2, World at War, Killzone 2... All this DLC we're gonna get with the patch is pointless. We're getting guns we already should have had. Yea! I also think the faction stuff is dumb. Why are you going to make it a pain in the ass for me to try out other guns?
