  • sorry i don't get this 3c/4a thing? i dont know if its an american thing or a general hair stylists' term :/ i'm mixed too n i dont really know what ine would be :/ (i'm british hehe)

  • the only people who ever say i have mixed girl hair are black women. on the one hand, they are trying to tell me that my hair isn't as hard to manage as theirs but as soon as i say it its a problem.. so get over it and stop being so sensitive. i never see anyone get mad on videos that say "for african american hair"

  • @britneyramos17 yessss! i was just thinking the same thing. seeing such an accurate hair twin is a first for me.

  • OMG!!!!!!1 SHE IS TTHE 1ST PERSON IVE EVER SEEN WITH THE SAME HAIR TEXTURE AS ME

  • What comb did she use?

  • Im not biracial but we have the same exact hair i've been looking for someone with hair like mines for, forever now thank you for this!

  • Also, if I would straighten my hair it would be just femi

  • @AdreaxJax well atleast your not in Russia where mixed people are considered invaders and traitors of the White race

  • My father's black and my mother's white, and my mom had absolutely NO idea what to do with my hair all my life. She got me my first relaxer when I was 7! Now that I'm older and trying to go natural I have no idea where to start. Your hair is very similar to mine and I learned a lot, thanks so much for posting this video :)

  • I'm a white girl with mixed girl hair - Very thick and with naturally 3C/4A curls (I have a Keratin treatment, so it's about 3B right now). Your process is almost exactly like mine. The only difference is that I put on mousse after the gel (it helps retain moisture) and I use paper towels when I scrunch - it REALLY helps to reduce frizz, and I just dry the paper towels and they last about 5 or so washes. Thanks for sharing!!

  • I LOVE mixed girls. they got nice feet :)

  • I wish she would make a youtube channel too!

  • and plus u wouldnt look the same if u wasnt mixed raced witch it beautiful and u kno it so dont be ashamed of being white and black or anyother mixed race because u kno ure beautifel :] and people see that they r not trying 2 put u down because of what ure mixed with

  • like i said when some1 asks u are u mixed race then say u r cause u r people arnt pickin on u.. if u have 2 or more races in u then u r classed AS MIXED RACED looool omdays alot of people like the mixes insted of just one inperticular race it exotic not every1 can hav that embrace it :] xx

  • like i said when some1 asks u are u mixed race then say u r cause u r people arnt pickin u if u have 2 or more races in u then u r classed AS MIXED RACED looool omdays

  • and then if they ask wot with then u can say wiv white and black and on wot side lol just like i get asked wot type of black i am and i used to get afended because i thought it was really obvious but they ask me if im african or from the carribean and then i have 2 explain 2 them my mum is bajain and st-lucian nd my dad is st-lucian and indian and then i let them figure it out by wot i tell them i think its a lot easyer for people that are just mixed with white and black lol 2 explain

  • i cant believe people when they get asked r u mixed raced when they r it only means ure mixed with 2 or more different races thats all just like white people get called white and black people get called black and bald people are called bald lol it just so people know what u r nobody gets afended mor that some that is actualy mixed race it so funny coz i dont think they really step back to think wot that means they just think they hav 2 explain wot they r but all u hav 2 say is IM MIXED RACED

  • mixed race is just a mix of races if it 2 or more in u thats all

  • so eco styler is really good for getting our type of hair to do what its suposed to look like aliminating frizz and gives me my indervigual coils .

  • my little girl is half black and half turkish and she has 3b hair its beautiful and the womens hair doing the video is deffo 3c 4a how i know cause 3b hair is much bigger curls plus my little girls hair is wot i wud call straight but big curls and myhair witch is the same as the lady in the video is thick like afro kinda texture but it coils and has quit a bit of frizz attached to my curls

  • barfetta3000... also there are a whole load of other mixed race people out there that people would never emagin and mixes people havent heard of yet the typical that a lot of people know is white and black mixed and i class my self as black because i have naturaly brown skin and i was Born in Barbados! wooo .. :]

  • barfetta3000...ure right cause my mum is bajain, st-Lucian and indian and my dad is st-Lucian and half indian and my hair is just like this womens hair in the video the one thats showing what to do with her hair my hair is mostly 3c hair and at the back its 4a mixed girls arnt all just black and white to be able to have that hair type u can be mixed with black and indian and have the same hair cause if u think about it indian hair is wavey or straight and so is alot of white peoples hair

  • did i here a fart in ure video omg lool!

  • How does she get 2nd day hair?

  • Me and her are similar. Beautiful

  • love the video!!! it was fun!

  • BTW I liked the video and the diff perspective. Great idea. I wonder why people get bent out of shape because someone is different. No one is just like another. Not even within the same family. I also think she's a 3B all the way with some 3C.

  • I think it was described as mixed race because the girl is mixed. So what?!?

  • Anyone no if and where you can get that gell in the uk?? :')

  • Am I the only one who thinks she's more of a 3b/3c?

  • I dont like girls with curly hair.....and i think many goed dont like that,I dont want to insult....

  • @verdefull whats goed mean?

  • @brookeb96 It means he is ignorant and can't spell.

  • @verdefull You don't like girls with curly hair, but you clicked on a video with a thumbnail that had a girl or woman with curly hair? Just to say that? It's not an insult, but it is rude.

  • @verdefull you know it's beautiful.. look at all that body and bounce.!!

  • wow omggg!! finally! ive been searching! im a mixed race and i have hair that is around 3b/c texture ive ne ver known how to take care of my hair! its sooo funny when someone makes a video and uses the title "biracial" theres always some race arguments in the comments for some reason i really dont know why

  • @iTuttefruit It's funny to me too, Somebody has to be the Politically Correct person. *shoulder shrugs*

  • @iTuttefruit Being biracial doesn't necessarily determine hair type which is why people react to that word. See Lenny Kravitz & Bob Marley for famous bi-racials with 4a-b hair. Youtube has a plethora of non-mixed people with type 3 hair like CurlyFitChick, LeobodyC5, or layanmahshi. So for help with hair, it might be best to look for videos of similar hair type rather than ethnic origin.

I guess I'm the PC person today! ;)

  • LOL i love the kids' voices in the beginning

  • i am mixed and i hate taking care of my hair. it takes way to much time!!

  • I'm not sure if it was answered but what kind of brush was that?

  • @amadah3 Denman paddle brush...got it from Walgreens!

  • @shosheezy thanks so much!

  • Hey, African Export, please read? (:

I'm curious, what do you do if you don't have a hooded dryer? Can you air it out or does it frizz? Because I am 13 and I'm going natural, but I can't exactly buy a hooded dryer :/ haha, Thanks for reading and if you answer thanks again.

  • @StupidVideos10 You can achieve the same thing with a regular blow dryer with a diffuser attachment, but it will take a lot longer. You can also let it air dry, but that will take a while as well and your hair will be all stiff with gel while you're waiting! I would highly recommend a hooded dryer, they're really great. I got mine from Sally Beauty for $40.

  • @shosheezy

Thanks I tried this out today and, even though my hair is currently growing out, it worked just fine air drying. Thank you (:

  • I see that children have found this video... *watches bemused*

  • 'Keep it real'? Hey dummy who made this video, she is BIRACIAL and her hair is typically BIRACIAL. Why don't YOU keep it real and acknowledge that it IS different. You do a great disservice to black women who think they can actually achieve this with their hair. THEY CANNOT. She does NOT have black hair. God, I hate this stupid country with the ignorance that is so friggin rampant. Mixed hair is beautiful and black hair is beautiful. YOU keep it real and ADMIT they are different.

  • @Barfetta3000 This girl's hair is kinkier than mine and I'm NOT biracial. But I have "black hair" because I"M black. There is no such thing as "typically bi-racial" hair. Bi-racial (half black, half something else) hair can range from straight to nappy. I know several BLACK women and men with straighter hair than this girl's. So when you say black people can't "achieve" (a word clearly proving your brainwashed state) this look, you speak out of pure ignorance.

  • @Barfetta3000 It's true that there really isn't such a thing as mixed race hair or rather mixed race hair is just the hair on the head of a mixed race person. Compare Andreaschoice's hair to this girl's hair to brittneyngray's hair. All different textures.

  • @Barfetta3000 The women in my family are all "black" as most would define us. ...my sister's hair is kinky curly, mine is more 3c/4a, and my niece has 3b/3c hair. Your race doesn't necessarily dictate your hair texture. Even in Africa among Africans themselves hair textures are variable. I also know mixed raced individuals with "straight" hair. So you can't really say such things so lightly.

  • I always find it hilarious when black women come up to my and want to style their hair the way yours is which looks like mine! DUH! Can't you tell yours is a completely different texture? LOL.

    Nice video.

  • @Barfetta3000 Yes, we know. Black women are jealous of bi-racial women, right? You said I am. Get it together. If your hair looks like the girl's in this video, there are many women with two black parents who's hair is longer and less kinky, naturally. And speaking for those whose hair is kinkier, you laugh at them? You are brainwashed by racism, honey. And with regards to your Obama comment. There are white people who said they voted for Obama's "white side". Read, think, and study.

  • @babyboom64 AMEN! I'm a 3a/3b and BOTH of my parents are black. NO mixtures, straight from the Motherland! ;-)

  • Have you ever noticed how the "mixed chicks" mantra is always "I'm not black, I'm mixed!" It's never "I'm not white . . . " or "I'm not Asian . . . " or "I'm not Latina . . . " It's okay to be 'mistaken' for anything else, but NEVER black. This is pathetic and sad.

  • @babyboom64 I will tell you why that is. Coming from someone who is part black, its a response because black people always try to claim mixed people. The only pathetic thing is they ask that and assume instead of accepting the truth. ONLY black people do this. I never have had any hispanic, white, asian, or whatever person assume I was just black. You can usually tell when someone is biracial or multiracial. Look at what they do with Obama? If stupid people just acknowledge the truth..the end

  • @Barfetta3000 We all know Asians and whites DON'T claim you as white or Asian, do they? At least black people will accept bi-racial people as their own. Whites and Asians NEVER will. Who do you think came up with the "one drop" rule and why? Most (not all) bi-racial people feel that being half something else (when one half is black) gives them status. You only see people who are mixed with black waving the "mixed chick" flag. Bi-racial people who are not half black don't have the same issues.

  • @babyboom64 the "mixed chick" flag is because a lot of non-biracial people just assume that a (biracial) person is only black, white, asian, etc. And when people do this, they are neglecting half of their RACE, CULTURE, etc. I think this is why you will hear a lot of biracial people saying "I'm mixed!", because they are, and they don't want their other half to be neglected. This happens a lot with biracial people who don't look mixed.. not just people who are half black.

  • What the hell is a 3C or a 4A?? This is irritating. I'm not "mixed", but have straighter hair than the girl in this video. Why can't we just talk about hair of varying lengths and textures and leave the racial labels out of it? There are Jewish people, Armenians, Egyptians, Italians, Spaniards, and Arabs with hair kinkier than hers. This whole "mixed race" emphasis is so indicative of how brainwashed we still are by slavery, colonization, and racism.

  • @babyboom64 It is because there are lot of racist idiots in America and this country, unlike Canada and England openly acknowledge and call a spade a spade because they have balls., They don't lump biracial people that are mixed with black into the black category. Maybe if most black people actually didn't have such self hate they would be fine admitting that a BLACK PERSON is not the same as someone who is half or part black. This is a well known fact.

  • The whole "mixed chick" label really BUGS me, especially in terms of the product(s) of that name. Why does race/color have to come into it? I've seen many biracial people with hair much kinkier than mine and I'm black.; does this mean their products are for their hair and not mine? What is "mixed" anyway? Bi-racial (or multi-racial or whatEVER) people's hair ranges from bone-straight to down-right nappy. WTF?

  • @babyboom64 You need to educate yourself because you are just another typical black women with jealousy issues. What is biracial? Are you really this stupid? A child born of a white mother and a Japanese father, or black father, or mexican father. Or a child that has a mexican mother and a nigerian father. A black mother and black father make a *drum roll* BLACK CHILD. END OF STORY. Those of us that are biracial or multiracial, whatever the combo are NOT ONE THING. Get it now? O.o

  • @Barfetta3000 Excuse ME, Barf-face, or whatever it is you call yourself. Scientists have proven that there is no such thing as race, dummy. By the way, Mexican and Japanese are not races, they are nationalities, ignoramus.

Perhaps you need to learn to read? The question I asked was "What is 'mixed'?" Some people are labelled "mxed' because one parent is one color and the other parent is another color. But isn't 90% of the globe, therefore, "mixed" in one way or the other?

  • I just dont understand why she didnt apply the Frutis Anti frizz on with the gel before drying. it would have had the same effect. but anyway, this was a very cool vid because it shows another way of styling hair if you are a 3C.

  • Her hair came out so awesome. I can't wait to get more growth, cause i REALLY wanna try some eco. LoL! My PJ is showing.

    Jen :p

  • I'm not mixed in the least bit, black, but my hairs just like hers...so I'm watching the video on your front page like did I click the right one? Your page is AWESOME! I love the setup I don't think I ever really check my subscriptions main fronts. I will now though lol. But I was excited all the same to see another "poodle head" like me teehee. I have my moments though....dun dun dun lol. MUAHZ! luv u girlll

  • @DaMeekz You have some mix in you and are just not aware of it. Everyone and their mother's KNOWS what black texture is. Its drier, more brittle, and when wet its extremely tight curls.

  • @Barfetta3000 Lol from acrolling down I can see you've been quite the chatterbox lol. There's nothing I can't stand more than someone who knows nothing about me...attempt to tell me about ME. LOL! For your information, I'm not a knowledge deprived "SISTA", My family and I on both ends have done our "geneology" on our ancestors. In fact have even gone through a series of DNA testing tracing us back to our tribes. None of which are EUROPEAN of any kind...I couldnt stand people like you in school>

  • @Barfetta3000 trying to tell me what I was and wasn't whether from my complextion or hair texture when I know damn well better than some stranger looking with the naked eye. There are plenty of beautiful chocolate parents producing light bright babies some of which have blue eyes and reddish blonde hair. It's an insult for me to assume I'm anything other than ME based on your biased idea of what "RACE" really is. We are the HUMAN race of different cultures & ethnicities. I am what you are not >

  • @Barfetta3000 an educated young woman well aware of her stance in this world no matter what my shell may be. I was born black & I will die black! LOL. FYI, that's what makes BLACK beautiful, because of the various shades body types hair types strength inner beauty intellect...pfft child please...MY BLACK is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L....HELL-OO haha. PEACE & BLESSINGS BE WITH YOU. "Applied knowledge is POWER"

  • @Barfetta3000 and if everyone and their mama know, why are you the only one who seems to not? You sound like a hater who never was told she was beautiful. Act like it.

  • Very nice video. I think it is important to see her process. Well done and interesting. I love her results. Thank you for the perspective and the information!

  • @MsChicoro THANK YOU , so much for commenting. Your book has helps so many women. I though that it was important to share another curly head's routine. Continue all the positive work. Take care

    ~keep it real

  • I really loved this video. It is good to see the different hair types and how the maintain their hair. One question: my hair does not like Eco styler gel (I think too much alcohol). can you suggest somethng else?

  • @NeferLioness ECO IS ALCOHOL FREE, HAVE YOU TRIED IC FANTASIA OR CURL ACTIVATORS LIKE LONG AID

  • @AFRICANEXPORT nope- the eco experience sent me running from all of it. but I will try them again-taking deep breaths and crossing fingers :-)

  • love those curls :D

  • Please Please Please continue to do more videos on different hair types and different products. Its very helpful and informative. Have you all ever used products from a line called Finickey? If so can you do a review or let me know how it works. Im interested in trying it.

  • I hope you do more videos like this with different hair textures. My hair is like a way more fluffy, cloudlike, version of this with a little smaller curls.

  • May try the sleek and shine or jojoba oil after... good idea!

  • I enjoyed the video. You two are so funny together.

  • @ astrozier1 .. I agree. I thought it was just me but thtz how it came across in the vid

  • she should try a curl cream like miss jesses quick curls, it doesnt weigh down hair at all and you dont need a lot so despite the price, it lasted me quite a while

  • This is the 5th 3c/4a vid that I've watched and my hair looks like all of ya.lls. So I know I'm this hair type. Nice to know what my pattern will really be once I cut the remaining relaxed ends.

  • Your videos are so informative. You both have gorgeous hair.

  • Where can I buy the ECO Styler Gel at? Also do you recommend it for since I'm transitioning with a TWA??

  • @MissKirsten1 Sallys sells it .

    ~keep it real

  • I want a Ouidad cut! I hate using gel but i might have to try the ecostyler now.

  • @NaturalHairBrush I think it's SOOOO worth it (yes, even at $150 a cut!). I got mine cut for the first time back in December. She told me to come every 6 months, but I'm still working it out without a new one LOL. The Ouidad cut does thin the overall volume of the hair out a lot, so I found that once it started to grow out, I just switched product and it was fine. For example, use lighter gels post-cut, and heavier gels (i.e., EcoStyler) a few months later.

  • Whoa, I thought her hair was just like mine until I heard her say she brushed the conditioner through. That wouldn't happen with mine, WAY too thick!

  • This video has help me a lot I'm very close to her textures and I'm happy to see this video 3 years natural and still learning ..thank u

  • she had bit of an attitude no you your friend

  • WORD!!!!!

  • Thank you!!!! Super helpful

  • @rumanaire Im glad. Thanks for watching and commenting . Take care

  • Thanks for sharing this! It is always great to see vids and processes with variations of textures of natural hair!

Even though my texture is NOTHING like this, it still gives me hope to try shingling again...it takes time and I will eventually find a science to my own kinly, coily hair!!

    Beautiful hair young lady!!

    Keep on keeping it real!

    :-)

  • Thanku! this awesome, even though im fromeast african (somalian) my hair is the same as hers! love the syling and ganna try the pantene product for sure. :)

  • @84neutral Ive been trying to find that . I saw a video on youtube. I think the user is @familygoingnatural. Her hair looked beautiful and she used the BM curl activator

  • Is she related to you...because she talks JUSTlike you!

  • @CreoleAdonis LOL, sister from another mother . We've been friends since 3rd grade, but no blood relation :O) Thats my GIRL. FORREAL

  • eco styler i love it!!! question.....what is her night routine to get 2nd day hair?

    great video

  • @Shemsa08 @abr1592 I get "2nd day hair" by just sleeping on a satin pillowcase. I sleep either on my back, with the hair "flipped up" so I'm laying on the underneath layer...or, I sleep on my side with the hair "flipped up" so I'm laying on the underneath layer. I don't put anything on it, no misting, etc. in the morning..just up and go. It's a bit frizzy, yes, but the curly is much looser, fluffier, and more natural looking! If I'm lucky, I can get 3-4 days out of this LOL.

  • How did I just know that someone was going to complain about the title of the video...

  • OMG YESS!! im mixed and myhair is 3b/3c but this helped so much!! :D

  • @Africanexport: The title states Biracial.

  • how does she get second day hair?

  • #Naturalhair TRENDS ON TWITTER 06/28!! LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!! RT THIS!

  • Thanks for doing this! I appreciate seeing the other hair textures and how they do their wash and gos!

  • Great video AE! Thanx for sharing this!!!!

  • My hair is just like this. Maybe I'll try this method

  • Eco Styler is too drying for me PERIOD!!!!

I have to mix it with a little product(lotion, condish, pudding or butter)

even then it still leaves my hair crunchy....useit around my edges

and front ONLY not the back.....worried about the crunch\crack

leading to breakage....it's the best definer ever tho....

  • The curls are beautiful, and I didn't realize the eco styler had to applied on wet hair, so thanks for the tip.

  • LOVE THE ADDED VARIETY!

  • Hey all...I'm Shoshana, the gal in the video. Thanks so much for watching and all of your lovely comments!!! If anyone has any questions, just ask! :-)

  • @shosheezy YES, I WILL DEFINITLY LET THEM KNOW... HEY HIT SHO UP FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS LOL..... GOOD LUCK :P

  • @shosheezy Hi Shoshana! Just wanted to say that your hair is thick and lovely. My question for you is this- what is your favourite conditioner/ deep conditioner and leave-in conditioner (if u ever use those)? Thanks.

  • @TheSupasweet Thank you! My fav deep conditioner is probably Mixed Chicks, but a very close (and much cheaper) runner up is Pantene Relaxed and Natural deep conditioner in the jar. Although, I'm not sure they sell that anymore, I haven't seen it in a while. My favorite leave-in is Mixed Chicks, which is light and leaves my hair super soft and fluffy. But, if I want to do more of a leave-in/hold, then I'll use the Sally's Generic brand of either Potion No. 9 or Paul Mitchell The Conditioner.

  • @shosheezy Thanx for sharing love! Great video!!!!

  • @shosheezy Hi Shoshana. By the way, what a beautiful Hebrew name you have! Just gorgeous. I have Sephardim on my father's side so I love Hebrew names. Anyway, I just wanted to know if you can achieve the same results by letting it air dry. After you applying the eco styler, could you just leave and go about your day and let it air dry? Do you think it would look different? Thanks for doing this video! .-_-

  • @kubasian Thank you! I think the same results can probably be achieved with air-drying. I like to use my dryer for two reasons: 1) it's a lot faster for styling and finished results, and 2) I don't like how it looks as it air dries. Meaning, it looks flat, stiff, and a little jheri curl-ish LOL. Still, I think the important parts of my own hair process are the product application (coat the hair!), and the fluffing out in the end to break up the product. Good luck!

  • Great video. Great reminder that sistas come in all colors with all different hair textures. We are all beautiful and should support each other...squashing the good hair / bad hair thing and the light skinned / dark skinned thing. Thanks AE!!!

  • Hey, my hair is very similar and is Very thick! I am going to try this on my hair and see what happens. Do you have any other sugestions for me to calm down the friz and detangle the curl? I'm tring to keep my hair natural and really need sugestions, tired of braids and hot comds! Thanks for the vid it was very helpfull!!!!

  • I love serum!!!!

  • @Elianna1978 alright alright i see you may have missed the pt i was tryn to make and "may" be a bit offended at my initial response and if so i apologize. (sn: i agree with u as well; just only making it clear that its just what she does for her reasons since its her hair) . i aint about all that back and forth stuff so ill say peace and blessings to ya and have a good one:)

  • Her hair is so pretty!

  • I think they should be called wash and work instead of wash and go lol

  • @BeautybyBianca

What she is doing isn't a wash and go (although thats what everyone has started calling it) Its actually shingling.. she hasnt washed and gone lol, shes washed and worked as you stated

  • I really enjoyed this video, I think she'd be a major hit if she created her own YT channel

  • @BeautybyBianca Right! LOL! Or wash, work and then go! Lol!

  • i like your videos because i like the information that you share and i like the styles that you do, but thank you for posting a vid of someone with my hair type! i like her technique.

  • I forgot your bf's name but I really enjoyed hanging out with you and her. A lot of times you can judge a person's character by the company they keep. Birds of a feather........ She was real and down to earth. Her hair was/is beautiful :-)

  • @Elianna1978 awwwww chile, no need to be that way. its not and never was that serious i just stated the obvious...her regimen thats all. You made the arguement for why she should use it and i just addressed to you the reason for why she doesnt. Now perhaps later on she may change mind but right now we see she is content with what she does. Nothing more and nothing less. You do what u do and she does what she does...its unqiue to each individual. :)

BTW... AE i LOVE ur vids!!

  • I really loved that you showed a different texture... I love how her hair turned out and how she shows that its not any easier per say to do her hair. She does the same process a lot of ladies do. I loved this!

  • Her hair turned out beautiful. I love eco styler it's my favorite gel as well. I just did a wash and go today with the Blue Eco Styler it's a level 5 hold and has less crunch.

  • @Elianna1978 Hey thats nice and all but i believe she addressed why she didnt use leave-in in her hair... afterall it is her hair... right? :)

  • Very helpful!

  • PLEASE PLEASE could you find a woman with 2c/3a hair!!!!!

  • @Anell8325 Hey there! My daughter has 2c/3a hair. I did a twist style on her in a recent video. Check out my channel. The video is called "twisted hairdo on 2c hair". Is there something in particular you want to see? I take requests.

There doesn't seem to be much in the way of styles for naturally wavy hair on the YT.

  • ECO STYLER IS THE JUNK!!!! Ive been using that wonderful goop since 1993!

  • Lol.....I love how the young lady is not "fussy" with her hair...lmao she like whatever....

  • i hate mixed chick products, i cant bare the smell XD

  • Thank you for sharing. This video has been very enlightening. :)

  • u r awesome girl! very thoughtful and smart to show videos on different textures. Love it!

  • She remind me of my niece who is biracial.....we do the same thing with our hair LOL. Great video!!!

  • Ummmm Ms. AE! Can we get a tutorial on your hair if there is not already one please? You hair is looking nice! Oh and by the way, as a native of Cali, are there any products that can keep and define a twist out (bantu knot out too) during the summer? I haven't worn a twist out in a while and I'm jonesing for one! lol It just seems that my twist out wont last..it just turns into a H.F.M! (Hot frizzy mess! lol) Thank you girl!

  • Nice video. Friends doing hair together is always nice! Great Memories :)

  • AE, if she uses a leave in or oil before the Eco styled, there won't be any crunch.

  • You know when I 1st started going natural I didn't know about the youtube family my hair looked awful I would see naturals walk by and they would always act as though yes it grew from my scalp this way. I suffered for a bit until stumbling onto yt...

  • This is exactly my hair texture. And this is exactly what I do to my hair. I do have to make sure my hair is wet, but yes, I scrunch. However, I do use a leave in conditioner because I like it.

  • We have similar textures! Thanks for posting this.

  • that was cool to see another texture!!

  • i have the same hair with the girl in the video and iam biracial//i use frizz ease and i also see results:)

  • Very pretty! I sure wish I had a friend that I was close to still from childhood.
