@MrGhost4077 You can be an Orc, you just have to go on "Monster Play". You can also be Uruks, Spiders and Wargs (basically a wolf).

I think you might have to subscribe to go on it though, however I'm not sure as I've been a subscriber since release in 2007 and don't know the restrictions of F2P.

i play WoW and i enjoy it. but i love lord of the rings, there one of my favorite movies. i heard that lotro is better than WoW. And i believe this.But the reason i dont want to switch is because in Lotro you can't play no evil character like orcs or uruk-hai. can anyone explain me why you cant create evil characters? that would make the game so much better

@friso0o You can only play as evil characters in pvp, your character starts at the max level for the sake of the fights. the races of the evils are: A couple uruks with classes similar to the hunter class, and the other like the captain, then theres a couple orc character one with a class like the lore-master, the other like the champion. Then there are a couple of monster characters that are a warg and a spider, which i thought was kind of cool but odd at the same time.

yeah i understand where your coming from, but WoW's graphics aren't really that bad its just there a different style to LotRO, when i played LotRO all the quests where like kill 10 boars then after i handed it in the same guy would give me a wuest get 100 boar livers to much of a grind but the graphics where amazing with DX10 and added a lot to the gameplay but not sure really just wasn't for me i suppose (:
