I can't wait to deal with 3 holley carbs. I put 3 50-gig hard drives in my computer. 3 4-bangers in my jeep. 3 1/4 inch roll bar setups in my pro street. Whats one more mechanically annoying thing 3 times over. :) hehe
These were just cars to us and like women there were plenty of em. We flogged them both and left em with their tonges hanging out. You ladies couldnt handle the no grip tires, drum brakes,no ac,ruthless big block heat transfer thru the firewall,no fuel economy, torque on acid, horespower on burbon. We was politically incorrect you snivelin dont run with siscors civic bitches. The only thing manly about your generation is the gay butt sex. No wonder people pay huge sums for our crumbs.
You're a reputable AUCTION HOUSE, and you incorrectly identify this as a "6-pack", rather than the correct "6-barrel" ? I could understand the average joe not knowing the nomenclature. Professionals should know the difference.
@WileERobby I am amazed that you can spell "nomenclature"! FYI They were know as 6 packs. Never had I heard someonce call this a 440 six barrel. Some of Chryslers old print advertising had referenced it as a 440 six pack...research it Poindexter!
Actually it is three two barrels. Now go on back to watching cartoons.
@cannonfirexm Wow, you've really demonstrated your ignorance. And then you add a condescending remark, as well ! Perhaps you should do the research. Dodge models (Charger, Super Bee, e.g.) utilized the "Six-Pack" name. Plymouth (Road Runner, Cuda, e.g.) utilized the "Six-Barrel" name. Without resorting to your juvenile name-calling, perhaps you should do the research. I'll help you: take a look at the hood of an A12 car, first the Dodge & then the Plymouth.
@WileERobby good job sending him back to his cartoons. funny how ignorant people can be in this day. @cannonfirexm -> there is a website called google, you should research you answers before you get cocky when you clearly know nothing!
why the fuck don't they re-release classic cars like this? modified for modern safety specifications, how sick would it be to see everyone driving around in 60's/70's/80's muscles like this?
i was talking to this guy about a year ago and i asked him about this one car and he said it was a '66 coronet w/ 440 6pack and he said when the guy that owns it really steps on the gas you can see needle in the fuel guage go down. lol
Cool!! I own a 70 RR. It is also a 440- 6 barrel. Deep Burnt Orange Metallic with the same interior. It is so awsome to drive. It performs better than a stock Hemi.
@gox84 Me and someone were just having that discussion the other day..I remember when I was in HS ( 1971.) I had a black 65 GTO..my best bud had a yellow 65 GTO conv..there were 66 Mustangs..Camaros ..Chevelles..When we would meet at the local DQ..today it would look like a car show. And these were just our daily drivers...siigh
lol yeah what do they have now caviliers what do the people who had these back then but sold it have now? caviliers! lol and kicking themselves for selling it or letting it rot in there yard witch is a whole lot sadder ;(
