I probably cant imagine how it is to just live an ordinairy life as a muslim (or anybody in North Africa) as a person from Holland with totally different roots

But Ive always loved history, art and music from that area, and the whole meditteranean (Spain, Greece, Turkey) since when I was child and my mom took me to museums to learn and look at other cultures and bought cassete tapes from Cheb Khaled (Sahra) :)

I live in Italy for a long time now and can't stand not hearing him. by the way he sang with an Indian artist a song in arabic and indian if I'm not mistaken. it's name is nari nareen. I'm proud of him. he's well educated studied at the american university, very funny and one of the few famous singers who sang asmaa allah el hosna that is a religous song. take care

Its like "Where is she? Where is my love? God have mercy on my heart." That's kinda the gist of the song. It's very poetic though, obviously more so than what I just said lol. He basically misses this girl and can't forget about her, he's wondering where she is. He's broken up about it and wants her to come back.
