to downpatch from 4.0.1 is easy delete wow then re install it only wrath of the lich king then use wow to open it not launcher type in a random user name and a random password then what will pop up is something saying ur version is out of date click it then it will start download from 3.0 1 by one and just stop it at 3.3.5 or what ever one u want Good luck guys:)

guys i have some problem..i want to depatch from 3.3.3 to 3.3.2...but when i'm done with patching up to 3.3.2 i try to log on my account and when i should get realmlist it starts to download 3.3.3 patch.. :(((

@Belphegor1993 probably an easy thing to resolve.

first: go to the folder where you have your wow instaled

second: use "wow.exe" to play and NOT "launcher.exe"

if you use wow.exe it will go directly to the game and wont start downloading patch :)

I'm pretty sure they fixed this in the latest patch. Even if you do this when you try to login to WoW it will say unable to validate game version even if its a private server that is on the patch you down graded to, it will most likely still say unable to validate game version and you have to re-install.
