Ethanol is not our long term solution. By using the oil from corn to create ethanol you are simply driving the demand for grain up which would result in higher prices on the food we rely on. Ethanol is nothing more then a band aid for a would requiring stitches.

I have a really good feeling natural gas or propane could be out next big movement because with a slight conversion the cars we have today would run off of either one.

he is correct. at least a third of the cost of a barrel of oil is from speculation.This has nothing to do with how much it costs to pull the oil out of the ground. It is only the oil companies bidding up the price and cashing in, with the help of BUSH. Meanwhile, actual demand has gone down, and still the price goes up. They will fuck us for every penny until a Democrat is elected.

the democrats will not help gas prices.you are right in the fact that speculation acounnts for most of the cost in a barral of oil but the dems will not allow more drilling and introduce even more regulation on current operations. witch will give the oil companies another excuse to raise prices. the best plan would be to stop speculation. make a law that says if you buy it you have to use it. this would stop the endless buying and selling of goods before they reach the consummer and lower prices

Genius, supply and demand controls the price of gas. The government(Congress) taxes the oil companies not Bush. The government made more on gas than the oil companies. Obama wants to tax the oil companies profits which in turn will be paid by you the share holders. The Democrats are blocking the drilling and refining of oil we know is within our own country.
