@x0lyfe Aye, that's the point ^_^ It was a haunted town full of ghosts, and the music was very fitting. That's my only gripe with gold & silver, the music got all ... cheerful.
@SpacePirateKhan It got cheerful because of the events that took place during the first game. It was originally haunted due to Team Rocket killing off Marowak's for their skulls (which fetch a pretty penny). But after you stop Team Rocket and put the ghosts to rest, three years later you return in the 2nd gen games to find that things are more cheerful than before. The music was changed to reflect this. :)
@HealyHQ Never thought of it like that, thanks! It makes sense now. ^_^ Though Lavender Town still depresses me; Apparently they tore down the big tower meant to honor the memory of dead Pokemon, to put up a commercial radio tower. o_o
@SpacePirateKhan Yeah, that is true. But don't worry, they simply moved the caskets to another location (south of the radio tower, there is a building which houses the new graveyard). There's no need for mediums anymore since the Pokemon's spirits are no longer restless. I think everything worked out in the end. Lavender Town is one of the smallest towns in the Kanto region. There's no economy there - no tourism. Even Pallet Town has the Prof.'s lab and such. Hence, they built the radio tower.^^
woah.

Have you tried moving the vehicle with mechanics that don't make a buzzing sound? It would make all the songs better :D
