  • Those 9 dislikes are from aliens jealous of our solar systems.

  • if the Jupiter was the same size as it's shown, then the the sun wouldn't even fit in the screen.

  • Felicidades..!!!! muy buen video y sobretodo la música de Vangelis me recuerda cuando era niño la colección de documentales de

Carl Sagan "cosmos". Me quedaba asombrado viendo las imágenes con la música

    Buen trabajo

  • what is song?

  • lol I was expecting Carl Sagan to speak at any moment.

  • jupiter almost bigger than sun?

  • What in explosion creates something so Uniform? Meaning when something explodes, it may look uniform at the time of explosion but then begins to become sloppy (fireworks). Most things in the Universe seem so Abiding by Law. If the Universe was formed in a Big Bang, what in an Explosion would create Law?

  • lol <3 the earth

  • where can i get this software to make videos like this?

  • Sobhan Allah the Creator of everything سبحان الله خالق كل شئ

  • @midotiger77 What makes you so sure?

  • @ilker1981 I'm pretty sure (: , Because the Qur'an tells us things we know not only in the twentieth century . if you want website talks about science and creation and so on

  • @midotiger77 I've read Quran two times. It looks like a history book.

  • @ilker1981 nope not a history book , there are some stories about past nations but not all the book about the history , i will send to you website in private please check it

  • RIP Carl Sagan. (Into the heavens into which we are made "From star stuff")

  • Nice vid man! But the speed of the orbiting planets doesnt fit, i mean Jupiter is moving much slower than earth... But your modelling is awesome!

  • but is missing a lot of things... where's pluto, sedna, and some rings in another planet...or i can't see right...to fast and to small too...the rings.

Cassini make news...sometime ago...and we have a lot of comets going to sun...a lot...really.

    improve this animation.... amazing!!!

The cosmology and astrophysics apreciate...and will again...just put some details...

    thanks hehehehehehe put nibiru too.hahahha

  • Amazing... congrats. missing words to make a description....amazing...awesome!!!! Thanks. Now...i know who can help with some good animation about some ideas that i have about little things from universe. You need to go deeper and deeper...hubbles view...get it?! Man....you can do it. I know. from macro to micro...and behind... Keep walking... Thanks.
  • This is quite an adventure within itself. 4.1 billion miles, if my math is correct.

And in the farthest reaches of the Solar System, the planets of Eris, Haumea, and Pluto. Simply amazing.

And the most amazing part is that it only took 6 days to make all of this.

  • amazing... beautiful... pleasant... I wish I can see the real one... not in 3D.. with my own eyes..

  • @amirul264 ..Close your eyes..

  • @woodyuniverse owned

  • truly majestic :O

  • Thanks a million

  • @woodyuniverse You mean "rotates" in the opposite direction, right? :)

  • @MrHotdiggitydog Why wouldn't "orbits" be correct? Venus is in orbit around the sun.

  • @knigthfigth Yeah. I just meant to distinguish the difference between rotation and revolution. Venus revolves (or orbits) in the same direction as every planet, but it rotates opposite from all the other planets as well (not including Uranus, I suppose). That's all I meant. :)

  • good job on this vid P

  • @woodyuniverse Venus orbits the sun in the same direction as earth, it's rotation on it's own axis is clockwise rather than counter clockwise

  • @woodyuniverse

yeah... it also revolves very slowly around itself making a day longer a year and if I observed that I would have made it near static.... Uranus also has a strange tilted retrograde rotation!..I didn't go to that much detail..just wanted textured visible planets.

  • @pacepertutti Venus ROTATES opposite to the other planets...

  • @pacepertutti

Venus does NOT orbit/revolve in the opposite direction. All planets orbit the Sun counterclockwise if you were looking 'down' from above the north pole of the Sun. Venus does, however, spin/rotate in the opposite direction from the other planets.

  • can I have permission to upload it for my class presentation please

    Perry

  • @pnewtonful

The video contains third party copyright content, the music is property of Sony entertainment allowed for use only on youtube and the Maps I used to create the Planets are property of Nasa.

So it's not entirely up to me :( ...... check Youtube rules.

Thank you for your interest in my video.

  • nice music.

  • @LUXITANE bo fino i sada idem da popijem vino!!!

  • Beautiful :)

  • I wish Earth was the same size as Jupiter, that way we could have plenty of space especially for more nature and bio diversity...cause right now we are ruining everything around us

  • @WWPSdvia lol but humans would have to be huge to be able to stand the extreme gravity thosands of times more powerful than normal... so it would be crappy if big giants wanted to colonize planets like mars.... it wouldnt work!!!! someone would trip off of the planet lol!

  • @maddychatty

the music is act 3 from "Heaven and Hell " Album by Vangelis ...

it was the music them for the old Astronomy TV series "Cosmos" presented by the late Carl Sagan.

  • Wow, that was great. Very interesting to watch. I'll bet that took some work. Excellent choice of backgorund music too.

  • Just a quick question, where is everyone's favorite Dwarf Planet... ERIS???

  • An amazing piece of work, really mesmerising to watch, thanks!

  • nice!

  • Wow. You did an amazing job with this!

  • how much time did it take to render it ????

  • @nicorule10

the project was rendered in about 9 or 10 parts... I can't remember exactly how long as I didn't render the whole thing in the same day.

I'd say around 7-10hours in total ... all depending on render settings.

bare in mind that in addition to Max rendering .. I edited the footage in after effects and rendered again but this time it didn't take much time.

  • the sphears sizes are way out proportion

  • @muktuklou

refer to the answer I have given to

PLAlfa about planets and sun's size.

  • why is jupiter the same size, if not bigger than the sun??

  • @484Jocey484

refer to the answer I have given to

    PLAlfa

  • this is so awesome man!

  • the sizes are wrong but is cool the animation

  • Wow. Great job on the animation, it looks really good!! Our solar system really is a thing of beauty :)

  • where are the proportion?..it looks like the jupiter is almoste equal with the sun.. lol.its to crowded outthere

  • it looks so peaceful but actually very dangerous and violent out there. Nice Vid

  • What song are you using?

    It matches the video!

  • @youcytube

The music theme is from the Cosmos series of Carl sagan, it's composed by Vangelis.

  • I love this video! Awesome! 5*****'S!

  • Great!

@paceperputti: can you please tell me how to create the Sun like that? thanks.

  • HI Vnlev

I'm assuming you're using 3ds max..... here are the steps to follow..

    1) create an omni light

    2) In the command panel scroll down to Atmospheres and effects and add a lens effect

    3) Highlight lens effect and click setup (this will open up the environment and effects panel)

    4) tick interactive in effects so you could see interactive rendering updates.

    .........cont

  • cont..

    5) Scroll down to lens effects parameters and add a Glow, Ray and Streak and then its just a matter of adjusting these 3 parameters individually until you get the desired effect.

Thats roughly how I did mine.... I hope this helps.

  • @pacepertutti how did you make that background ?

  • @Alyaz5

The background was done with compositing in Adobe After effects.

I used an animated starfield in the background, there are many plugins that will generate stars ..etc

  • I have no words! 8-o

  • I thought I saw an image of Einstein's head on Earth's moon in this video.

  • hy pacepertutti! can you please tell me what render setings did you use? i am also making a film about our universe in 3DS Max but the clips are not that high quallity as yours..and they not play so smoothly as yours. can you please help me with some tips? thank you

    p.s. 5 * from me :)

  • @neagumarc

After finishing a project in 3dsmax I export the project in TGA images sequence with Alpha channel.

I then import the images sequence in Adobe after effects for compositing and/or injecting additional effects if needed.

I then render the project using either Avi or wmv format which I then Upload to youtube.

make sure you read youtube recommendations on file format and if you want HD make sure you render in HD 720p.

    Good Luck

  • @pacepertutti

I usually render with 3Dmax in avi, then i put the output in ProShow Producer (it has a super render quallity, if not the best)

Thank you, that was helpful! i will try your way of rendering to and see which quality is best :)

  • Great Video!

***Hey, has anyone seen the unusual activity of our Sun lately? I have not verified but can be seen via GIF images on the 'SOHO NASA' site.

Even though its supposed to be near the 'lowest activity' of its cycle. It seems to be 'Pulsing'. The entire Sun seems at times to light suddenly to even the brightness equivalent of the CME's. Then going quickly right back to normal. Like a capacitor. ***

If you know more abut this message please message me. Thanks.

  • To 1radicalone, ah so yes ah so no, fuck off you twat. You r out thare on your own

  • Awesome animation!! ***** stars for you:D nice move putting Vangelis in!

  • very nice

  • beautiful!

  • Are the scales in this accurate? They don't appear to be, though that may be simply due to perspective.

  • Hi 1RadicalOne,

I did respect the Scales in respect to inner planets as a group and I also did the same for the outer gas giants.

But the scales aren't respected if you compare the outer planets with inner planets.

The moons and the asteroids also do not reflect their true size because I wanted them to be visible.

I also had to compromise on the Suns size and the inter-planetary distances because the outer planets are separated by huge distances.

  • Ah. So, yes and no. The scales within a "category" - however arbitrary that term is - are accurate, but for practicality purposes, the scales between categories had to be distorted.

Fair enough; it would have been inconvenient to have (almost) all of the planets be tiny specks compared to the central star.

  • wow, well made! beautiful! :)

  • you got that music from cosmos carl sagan lol

  • That's right! it's the music from Cosmos composed by Vangelis! Brilliant stuff... it added something to Series Cosmos presented by the brilliant Carl Sagan whom we miss greatly... and I also like to think that the music helped this video too.

  • beautiful

  • Amazing textures! Very well done, thank you for sharing your talent.

  • Thanks for your comment and I'm very glad you liked it.

  • Very nice work!

  • Thanks for your comment :)

  • Really nice!!! and I love the first Logo!!! +5 from me!!!!

  • Cheers TOROYD! I too enjoyed watching your excellent Videos :)

  • Tres beau travail kho sincerement Bravo

  • Je suis content que t'as aimé ça, merci pour le commentaire kho :)

  • Where is Nibiru aka Planet X.

  • Sorry renesaso No such a planet in my solar system :)

I'd Be very excited if new planets are discovered and i'll be more than glad to include them :)

  • how are we certain that all the planets revolve around the sun?

  • What are you? A 16th century Roman Catholic Inquisition'er!

  • jonb2k8

    Because gravity says so.

The Sun has a huge mass and the planets have relatively smaller mass... so the Sun rules ;)

the orbits have been decided billions of years ago..... and since then the solar system goes round and round ....

  • because we can predict eclipses and transits, and plan the flight paths of space probes

  • i would love to fly in outer space when i die. if god lets me.

  • Nice video with the theme song of "Cosmos" by Carl Sagan. BTW, the sizes of the planets and the Sun are not correct relative to each other. The Sun is about 100 times the diameter of our home planet....

  • Hi Cruisingaltitude 

Thank you very much for you comment and your keen observation , you are absolutely right to point out the sizes of the planets and that of the sun.

As you said, the size of the suns diameter is about 100 time that of the earth and if I have respected that ratio all the inner planets would be almost invisible on the screen because they would have been dwarfed by the size of the Sun or even Jupiter to a lesser extent.

  • cont...

Another thing I had to compromise in is the inter-planetary orbital distances because as you well know the outer planets are separated by astronomical distances.

What I wanted to show on this Video was a HD texture, panoramic view of the solar system and a reasonable enough animation.

As for the music.... I am a big fan of Vangelis and I too thought the theme from Cosmos was just the thing :)

  • Thank you for your reply. Maybe zooming in and out on planets with the Sun as background in 3D would be nice for a next movie....so that you would really get a feeling of the size of the Sun (flares) compared to Earth and Mars, etc.

  • Thanks for the tip mate, I'll keep that in mind.. I am indeed thinking of making a video dedicated to the Sun and one to the Jovian moons as they are interesting and rich in texture.

    Cheers :)

  • Also check out the new video's of youtuber "tdarnell", especially his new vid about the Hubble Deep Field photo in 3D. Magnificent to watch in HD and fullscreen on a wide screen monitor, just like your video. And i agree on the music ;)

  • Brilliant stuff ! thanks for the link.... I haven't seen that in HD:)

  • I'm trying to make something similar for a sci fi short. I have cracked everything else but i don't know how to make the sun look realistic. Any tips. I'm using 3ds max 2009

  • there is a detailed tutorial called creating the sun using a lens flare youll find it by clicking on help and choose tutorials from the drop down menu after that do a quick search for Sun

Its an excellent straight forward tutorial just follow the instructions and Im sure youll end up with a satisfactory result..

The idea is to play with all variables until you get the desired effect.

    Have fun ;)

  • wow this is very amazing, and i have a very high fasination with our solar system thank u for this video and ur wonderfull 3d design skillz 10/10

  • kawał dobrej roboty kolo... graty

  • Dziękujemy za Twój komentarz :)

  • wow amazing vid !!!!

    thanx pacepertutti =D

  • I'm glad you like it .... Thanks for your comment :)

  • Beautiful video. Indeed and undoubtedly this is a fantastic system, a fantastic creation, Thanks to God for this life and for this beautiful experience.

  • indeed thanks for your comment :)

  • I think and i know we get this chance in this life.

Its not far away, maybe in 5 or 6 jears we all can

see the hole univers. Believe in it ;-)

  • I sincerely hope you're right :)

  • Someday i hope we can visit our solarsystem.

I must be really amazing and beautyfull******

  • I share that same dream... sadly it won't happen my lifetime but I'm sure future generations would stand a better chance.

Having said that and thanks to the Hubble telescope and other space missions we can now enjoy wonderful images depicting the planets and their moons..

I wouldn't have been able to make this Video without those images that I used as textures on spheres to model planets and moons
